  1. And now, for some kind of comic relief, here it is. After the sudden death of my old HD I've at the moment only CMA on the new one so I've decided to play all the campaigns I have and then the standalone missions. During the second stock campaign I didn't fully realized that one of my core units had had a constant flow of losses that ended with what you can see in pic 1. At the beginning of this scenario I was supposed having an infantry platoon and some support. And then, 15 minuts later, with the arrive of substantial reinforcements... Luckily, I managed to complete the mission with only a minor defeat.
  2. Seems interesting! Just a note, the place nearer the coast name should be Miramare, presuming the airport is the nowaday Felllini Int'l Airport.
  3. Like this, you mean? " right down to what the individual soldiers cary into battle" Funny how typos creep inside texts.
  4. I didn't know of the existence of this Militarypedia. Seems useful. Thanks Backer!
  5. I've just watched the first episode. It's quite interesting. Thanks for the heads up JK. BTW I've on my "to watch" list on Netflix "Tell Spring not to come this year", a documentary about tha ANA. Has anybody checked it already?
  6. Ah, I presume you meant http://www.panzerverkauf.de/. A lot of cool stuff. Pity the only T-72 M has been sold already, it should be cheaper than the regular ones.
  7. Ahah! You aren't the only one.
  8. Yup! I stand corrected. Anyway, it isn't that expensive ...
  9. Long story short. Last week I was at Cartoomics, a comics and games fair in Milan. As usual, among other things, there were the guys of the Umbrella Corporation Italy club, linked with the Biohazard movies, putting up a show a few times a day with zombies on rampage, Umbrella's soldiers shooting around, terrified civilians on the run etc. Not a bad show, really. The thing which surprised me was that this year was added a real BTR60. I asked more info to a guy of the gang and he told me that it was bought in Poland last year and has the engine and a good deal of the electric stuff still in good enough shape. Well, obviously it was demilitarized. Italian legislation is rather strict about this things. I wonder how much can cost such a vehicle. More than a FIAT panda, I presume.
  10. The title says all. Does fraps work with windows 10 too? Thanks!
  11. There were the infamous stone walls impassable even for tanks. It makes a good deal of difference in several scenarios, I' d say.
  12. Toward the end of the war a bit more. In January 1945 on the allied side there were six combat groups similar to light division or, if you prefer, resembling the old binary divisions pre armistice. Two infantry rgt, 1 arty rgt, 1 engineers btg. Something like 9000 troops each.
  13. iTunes? Oh, I thought it worked with apple gizmos only. Going to check this, thanks for the advice.
  14. Just to add my experience. I have Windows 7. CMSF is in the program files (x86) folder, separated from the other BF games and most the savegames are in C:\Users\Proprietario\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Combat Mission Shock Force\Game Files\Saved Games while in the proper folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Combat Mission Shock Force\Game Files\Saved Games there are only four savegames dating back to 2012. Funny things.
  15. "This content is not available in your location". Meh. I'm missing a lot of interesting stuff.
  16. It seems it works properly, as RockinHarry says in the comment section: The changed stance/animation for the medic gives him the benefit of any other soldier in same stance (lying prone), beeing a smaller target for enemy spotting (attempts) and fire. No more medics that reveal the position (drawing enemy fire) of their team mates, particularly when in hide mode!
  17. Now, this is very useful! I'm frequently confused with the calibers. Thanks Ivan!
  18. Found it, thanks. There are a few interesting things. I'd better check the FGM site more frequently.
  19. Ah, I declared the bridge "safe" some turns ago.The few scattered germans this side of the hill on the right side of the picture are busy running for their dear life. This sounds interesting. I'd gladly try a good one. Your advice?
  20. Back to the original subject, here is a whole infantry company crossing a bridge using a single move order. Rush hour!
