It would be useful to get some confirmation as to how this actually works...The description above sounds like it might be for the earlier games, it was my impression that modern QB Maps use more than two AI slots.
It would be even cooler if you could import a finished battle into the editor to add fresh forces, extend the map, whatever.....Campaigns with persistent map damage, by other means, effectively.
Download the CM:FI 2:10 patch (it includes the R2V content), then run activate products and enter your activation key.....Bingo!

It was simply the lack of 'whatever those things are' at the rear of the turret.....I'd assumed they might be testing the system's coverage and effectiveness one sector at a time, probably starting with the most important, the front (600 or so).
Ah, OK.....That's the image that prompted this thread.
It looks to be a somewhat simplified version of the Arena variant seen on the vehicle in Gur-Khan's images (no rearward dispensers, or possibly just one dispenser on the left, with an odd looking cover).
Returning to things Russian, although not APS.....Does anyone know what the green & black camoed, 8-wheeled vehicle in the background of this image is:
The turret looks like the new 57mm AA gun, but I don't recognize the chassis?
Some images of the Arena system, more or less as fitted above:
Neat little package compared to the original Arena setup, or the vast 'dumbo-ears' of the Abrams' APS.

If anyone out there feels like they have a score to settle with a certain 'Mg Pyay Ag'.....Firstly your previous help has been much appreciated, and secondly, your opportunity to catch up with him, is close at hand:
I'm guessing this would be the approximate period?
