Battlefront.com
OK, let's not get all stupid now and cause me to give anybody a Time Out. It's the same story as usual. We want to put more into the game than we should, which means it takes longer than it could otherwise take. Estimating that amount of time is extremely difficult to do on a feature by feature basis, not to mention spread out over hundreds of things. And I can promise you, nobody is more anxious to release a game than the guys making it. Especially ones who work, basically, on commission like we do As has already been cleared up, Battlefront (as a developer) has never cancelled a product in development. In fact, we've never canceled a product that we've done a game design for. Battlefront (as a publisher), however, has had to cancel a couple of 3rd party products for one reason or another. The key difference is what we have control over and what we don't. Steve
medlinke
Isn't the waiting part of the fun though? Keep up the good work and remember...the time you spend here Steve & crew is time you can't eat, sleep & code.
MeatEtr
Well June 6th has come and gone and we had only two threads about a release/bone request, not bad. We did manage to get Steve to come out to calm us down. Now everything can return to normal.

Sequoia
The bad news for those awaiting the NATO module is we'll get no work out of Webwing-a Brazilian- while the World Cup is going on.
McAuliffe
That's okay, as long as you come out with a CM:FIFA module.
undercovergeek
without expecting a date, and understanding you said the schedule of releases would be Afghanistan, Nato, CM:N, have you a rough idea of how far away from the NATO release you are - just to spot some 'coming over the horizon' like clues..... thanks
Battlefront.com
NATO will definitely come out before Normandy. As for an exact time... we are close enough that we may soon announce a ship date, but far enough out that we don't want to give a timeframe. Steve Steve, In an earlier statement, iirc, you predicted an Afghan/Nato/Normandy release order. You also made it quite clear that this was your best guess and not a hard fact. Is this still your best guess? As always, thanks for any information you are willing to share!

Steve you twist and turn like a..................... twisty turny thingy........ do you then have a rough idea of the time between Nato release to CM:N release? extra rough?

Ryan
you twist and turn like a..................... twisty turny thingy........ do you then have a rough idea of the time between Nato release to CM:N release? extra rough? Actually, you can figure it out with a simple formula: NATO release plus X days X = the number of days Normandy is released after NATO.

mike_the_wino
OK, let's not get all stupid now... I thought that was a defining characteristic of forum membership? Erik Springelkamp
All schedules delayed indefinately, hiring a new programmer...
