Gordon
Everyone to get from street. OK, I've started on the Russians to complement my US NATO mod. Here's the BMP-2. There's a lot of vehicles to work on, so don't expect this mod very soon. [ June 10, 2008, 06:45 PM: Message edited by: Gordon ]

junk2drive
Lots of talent displayed recently by you. Much appreciated by all, I'm sure. Hope it means your physical problems are better or subdued. Here's another CM modder that is missed Drop Team Mods

Of course, on everything listed above, Gordon has done the colours, and done them very nicely.
junk2drive
Glad to see you both are active. I seem to remember those UAZs in another post a while ago. I hate getting old.
Zemke
Now this is cool stuff, makes me want to play this game again sense I started playing the new HPS release of Modern Campaigns, called "Danube 85".

Gordon
Originally posted by RommL: very nice work... Will one find it in downloading when? I am anxious to see also the T-72.. Well, I've only just finished my beta version of the BMP-2s. So that only leaves the BMP-1s, BRDMs, BTR-60, UAZ, T-55s, T-62s and T-72s. So, I wouldn't expect anything for quite some time. And I also only just realized that I neglected the poor Strykers in my NATO mod, so I'll have to work on that ...
Gordon
Ok, here's a family BMP portrait. On to the good ol' '55s.

MikeyD
I bet most people can't distinguish the BMP-2 from the BMP2-K in the game. Nothing like a good camou scheme to call out the difference!
Gordon
RommL, Well, I try to slightly vary the colors between vehicles to represent different age and weathering effects and so they don't look like they all rolled out of the factory on the same day. MikeyD, Yup, that's another one of my goals, to help differentiate the different types of vehicles (within the limits of the shared portions, of course).

Not that it matters because you can't micromanage your gunners often enough or with as much fine tuning as saying in real life 'go for command vehicles' to take out the 'K' variants anwyay.
Gordon
So, the T-55s never got the fancy new camouflage paint jobs, and they've been out in the elements for a lot longer, so they're looking a little "tired" ...

John Kettler
Gordon, While I doubt I could mod a backpack, let alone a tank, I'd like to suggest that you find some images of steel tracked armor in the desert. Bet the treads won't be black! Disregard if this'll kill the poly count. Impressive work in any event! Regards, John Kettler
