Macisle
This is great (at-work) reading! The only problem is that the scale keeps tipping from the "work" side to the "reading" side.If only I could get paid for that side!
user1000
I like how you individualized soldiers with rank and names, is it possible for soldiers who survive in a campaign to gain medals for heroic acts or ranks? You can tell I don;t have cm2 yet. Have all the 1xs though Edited December 16, 2015 by user1000

Bud Backer
ok the AT one is in the game.. but what about the impact fuse(1st) and the 2nd one which is airburst?Impact is there too, but I think less so as the war goes on. Their presence appears proportional to historical/doctrinal usage.

You can tell I don;t have cm2 yet. Have all the 1xs thoughWell...this is a comic, so I'm taking a real CM battle that is not staged, and wrapping a story around how it is turning out. So I can give medals and so on to my heart's content. But the game does not do that, no.
Bud Backer
This is great (at-work) reading!Reading CM stuff like Bil's Battle Drill blog, or AARs, or the various excellent threads on how things work, is a much healthier way to spend one's day at work. The only problem is that the scale keeps tipping from the "work" side to the "reading" side.If only I could get paid for that side! Not getting paid for it keeps it a hobby. If I was getting paid to make these comics, there would be pressure, instructions on what to show, schedules, deadlines....ugh. No, much as it would be fun to monetize it I'm quite happy I don't have that anvil dangling over my head.
kohlenklau
But at 10 cents a copy..you'd get rich really quick. Maybe rich enough to buy a soda or a coffee! I'd buy every copy to just to proudly support you. Like when your kid is in the newspaper for the canned food drive or the hog calling contest. Right?++++++++++++Go Big Green! I love the turn of events and the way the spirit of the story has just picked up. My American bias is so obvious...??

Speaking of buying stuff - did you look at the Bulge comic I recommended by Wayne Vansant for the Kindle? Some nail biting stuff ahead, folks. Good and bad. But we are already past half way in this 30 minute battle...dare I hope I can hold onto Liefrange?
kohlenklau
Yep, I bought it. A bit more than your 10 cents but I bought it! Hold on to Liefrange or kill as many of them as you can before pulling out. Leave it a smoking moonscape too!
gnarly
Speaking of buying stuff - did you look at the Bulge comic I recommended by Wayne Vansant for the Kindle? Picking my copy up from the library on the way home tonight. It'll be nice to get a quick and dirty overview of the whole Bulge campaign in one reading, before I return to my slightly deeper and slower reading (but still very good) copy of Ardennes 1944: Hitler's last stand....
