  1. I saw the Jumbo's tracks start to spin in your GIF and the tank didn't move. I wondered if it was bogging. To see that happen in the AAR - going to be a nail-biter!
  2. Now that would be a cool effect! No more red crosses in the air, just nice little ones in the ground! Hahah, I like that.
  3. Personally I think gefreite Hagen is a madman performing buddy aid while an MMG is firing at him, but he managed to do it to completion and took the MG42. I'd not take one instance of anything to be significant, however. Not saying you're wrong, I just wouldn't conclude anything until I see it more often. I noticed the foxhole too! And wondered about whether that's new or if I just missed it before.
  4. I figure I can blind the enemy by taking out all his spotters. That will make it easier to surprise him. Plus. As you will soon see, that HQ was using its radio for nothing good! The Chaffee commander is in pretty bad shape and out of this fight. Will he live to the end? I wonder too! Thanks for the well wishes, she's doing quite well, all considering.
  5. The battles are few and far between where neither side was under time constraints. I see nothing inherently wrong with QBs, for AARs or general play. There is always a risk that a battle may go very differently than anyone expects. One can minimize it by imposing some restrictions like % composition requirements, and playing with the time and environmental factors to present a "situation" without making a full scenario. Bil's choice is one that is high risk and that is the sticking point here more than anything, I feel.
  6. That's an incredible long shot for a stummel to take out your jeep in town. Wow! Your accidental fire in town that got the panzerfaust man earlier plus these little incidents may be very convincing that you're going to defend Cobru and force a lot of caution on the German's part, which will burn a lot of time he could have better spent elsewhere. If he doesn't catch on soon enough...
  7. Bil, Would you mind sharing how you did a few things with the screenshot above? 1. You have men in a non-translucent building. How did you manage that? I've been going crazy with my own graphics trying to hid translucency of occupied buildings. 2. Are the windows actually functioning here? Is that something that was always there and I missed it, or did you show a view of the street (and trees/buildings in other windows) beyond some other way? I'm amazed at your graphics!
