  1. Their relative ineffectiveness is likely why we didn't hear of them being nearly as worrisome as Panzerfausts and magnetic AT mines.
  2. In another game IanL took out a Panther with an AT rifle grenade. I can attest that they do hit and kill tanks. Mind you, you do have to hit it in a vulnerable area.
  3. I used them in CMBN so they are not so new, I'm afraid.
  4. Weather is Heavy Snow, Ground Conditions Medium Snow, visibility >400m with gradual degedation. Temperature is Extremely Cold.
  5. haha you like the top-down view? I wanted a different perspective and while the bird's eye view isn't usually good for what I'm doing, it seemed to work for what I did here. I picked up Wayne Vansant's Battle of the Bulge graphic novel for the Kindle app on my iPad for $2 to get further ideas on how to present things in this and upcoming comics. Thanks to Gnarly for the suggestion in this thread. Thank you very much for the well wishes.
  6. the snow on the upper parts of the fence rails is just great.
  7. I honestly could not see, it really appeared to be stray fire.
  8. Streams really enhance existing larger bodies of water too. They give added natural looking terrain that makes the environment more immersive. IanL showed some in a map he did and seeing a stream in autumn without snow, them winter with snow, is really incredible to me.
  9. Great stuff! Always a pleasure to see you post in this thread, your screenies never disappoint.
  10. So did we...these days everything but a brain transplant appears to be day-surgery
  11. This marks the point where this comic has reached half as many panels as my first and longest, The Battle of La Ferme Dupont.
  12. As you can surmise from my posting this evening, we're home, and she's sleeping. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, well-wishes and prayers.
  13. 1. Thank you. 2. I'll take "other" for 200, Alex. More Bad Kitty news coming! I've discovered stuff about this thing and I can't wait to share!
  14. Thanks, Heinrich, your kind thoughts are appreciated by us both. The holidays are appropriate; having her well is the biggest gift I could ever receive. Atmosphere is something that all Battle of the Bulge fans will find galore here. Snow, trucks up to their axles, some amazing new kit, and a bit of imagination...how perfect, I think. It is a lot of work, but it's worthwhile when I read all your comments!
  15. I would not expect it. The whole shell is well under 400kg. So, the crater is unlikely to be bigger than a 750lb bomb. The crater you showed looked like something from a 2000lb bomb or naval shell fired from a battleship.
  16. It's amazing how the overview map gives the impression that the distance from KT1 to the L-Shaped Wood is short, yet the screen capture shows that in fact, it would be hard to see the targets (your scouts). Maps (as opposed to the 3-D environment) can be quite deceptive if one does not read them correctly. If you have good LOS from KT2 to the EA, you will make it difficult indeed for him to pursue this advance, what with your Heavy units able to get ahead of them and force them to attack frontally and face flanking fire.
