That happened to me to (I have Windows xp). I just saved it in the wrong place! It didn't save in the scenarios folder, it saved one level higher than that. If you have Vista, then definitely check out Adam's post. You'd better find it 'cause I wanna play it eventually!

Version 1.3 is slowly being cooked up! I'd like to release it some time soon after the Brits module shows up. If you have any suggestions for improvements or new features, now would be the time! So far... *Made room for a larger mod list box. *A few more folder shorcuts. *A new category or two to sort by. *LARGER screenshots/pictures in mod records. *Updated hyperlinks. *A few other small things. Coming soon... *Easier to understand interface: follow steps 1, 2, 3, etc. *Picture browser will remember the folder you specify. *More! What I would like to do... *Automatic record creating if mods are in "z-Bee" format. You would drop a folder in and BAM! you get the record created, description, screenshot, etc already there! *Saved game management with dates and times. *Whatever else the masses of cmsf players need! Let me know how I can improve it to work easier for you guys and I'll give it my best shot.

They'll probably spring it on you without warning sooner than later. I have no idea when, but they've got to be close. When Steve makes those comments, it's really only a matter of time before you log in to see it sitting there all shiny and ready to download.

1) Modders will do their best. 2) Many scenarios will be created for past, present, and future battles.

There are a few afghanistan scenarios already. "The Green Zone" "Afghani Stan" "FISH" or "FISHing in Helmand" I know there's more too. But having a lot more would be fine with me.

As Combatintman suggested, I HIGHLY recommend Ross Kemps videos. They can be found on liveleak and maybe on youtube. You get a great sense of how accurate cmsf is in his documentaries. Note: he has two about afghanistan (at least). One where he follows some Brits from training all the way to the end of deployment and another where he goes back to helmand again. His videos even show maps and strategies. Very good, but you'll shed a tear or two for our British brothers.

I just sent a fresh copy to GreenAsJade. I tested it first and it worked fine here. He emailed back to me and said he'd replace the file. Thanks GreenAsJade! It's not the greates scenario ever, but it's fun you if play it right. QUICK move to the ambush location and the rest is up to you. Let me know if it still doesn't work for you.

Yeah, the ground guys calling it in will know what's coming, whether it's a 500 pounder, a 2000 pounder, or a strafing run. Certainly I, as the commander, want to know what's being dropped.

It's not up there. I just tried to put it up there, but there was a problem. I emailed greenasjade, so hopefully he'll let me know how to fix it. I was just going to go ahead and upload my stuff regardless of the version. I don't think they'll need any tweaking. PM me if you want me to email it to you.

I'll have to revise my missions after 1.2 comes out. Then I'll put a couple up there.

1. Make a trenched out map in mud. 2. Add a whole bunch of craters, bunkers, etc. 3. Make all the infantry as a bunch of sniper squads (single shot) and a few mg's. 4. Give both sides lots of artillery. 5. Make ww1 skins for both sides. 6. Have at it!

Yes. I just add an x to the original file name and then put the new sound with the old name if you have the original in the z folder. Ex: gun 5 m249 0 Rename to gun 5 m249 0xxxx. Save new sound file as gun 5 m249 0. If you never exploded the sounds, just put the new file in the z folder with the original name. I think this should work for you.

I don't have the problem... I've got an old school lcd, not even a wide screen.

Yeah... it keeps kickin my arse. It took me about 5 reloads to defend the big armored counter attack without more than 10 KIA. Now I'm assaulting on the huge map (with the R & D complex) and I just lost an entire squad KIA to a lucky rpg shot. It's been tough so far. I guess that's why they have to be devils in baggy pants.

I use Fraps. Google it and you'll find it. With Fraps, you can take screen shots, video, and view your frames per second. You can also specify whatever buttons you want to do these things as well as whatever folder you want them to land in.

I downloaded many, many mods there, and put all of my cmsf scenarios and mod managers there. Cmmods will be missed. But... now we must pass the torch to GreenAsJade... http://cmsfmods.greenasjade.net/
