There are so many great things for US as a team of partners to create and try to create for CMFI with respect to Africa and Malta and Crete and ?. 
I pledge to purchase R2V and get back into CMFI mods full force in the fall of this year. I requested @Blazing 88's to call me at 3am in September 2021 and wake me up to get started.
 

I figured I would start its own thread. Kevinkin is moving fast with maps and scenarios.
I am supporting him as the "campaign factory" with advice (when and if he wants it!) and briefing images.
Core force is E Co, 16th Infantry Regiment. 1st Infantry Division. Winter 42/43. North Africa. 
3 days of various battles.

Alright, 50 days until X-mas. The gauntlet is down for you guys, especially you "cherries", to make a scenario, your first scenario...?, before Christmas. Let us swamp the community with some scenarios. Use or modify an existing map if you need to (and give polite credit in your briefing or designers notes to prevent accusations of being a dreaded parasite!). Make your own simple map! No Rembrandts are required! Dial it down to 208 x 208, the teeniest tiniest map you can make. Playable from only one side is AOK. Just make sure to say that guidance in the main cover description. Use just a tiny force. Put the AI on defence and the AI plan is very rudy..rudo..ruddimuntary..it is EASIER! Use just a small timeframe of 10 minutes!  I (and a butt ton of others) am here to lend a hand to answer questions or go and have Turkey in a few weeks and read the famous JonS scenario guide pdf in your main install folder. All these different titles can use some new juices.

Sure! I think the only reason I didn't do this in the first place was because I was using a multicam uniform instead of ACUs. I was thinking about doing a "dirty" and then an "extremely dirty" version.
 
I don't know when I will get to this as I have been a bit swamped with IRL stuff as of late, but I'll try and get cracking on it for you as soon as I can.

PS - @Erwin's quite right, that map looks like it could be fought over several times without exhausting its possibilities.
PPS - You might have saved me some work for the 'if it all goes completely wrong' scenario for my mini-campaign (ie: the player fails all the various branches in succession).....I needed a biggish map without too many settlements and you just made one!  The synchronicity continues!

Now that @dragonwynn has returned we might be able to make some movement on that front... he had been doing some interesting things with buildings for his Korean mod.
Oh, minor update... I've added a new environment tag to the modpack.
[tunnel] is a pretty simple one really...  it uses the work of @simast , combines it with some @patboy textures and a few new sounds to give us a quasi-underground environment to play in...

Just waiting (28 Minutes!  ) for the Skyraiders to arrive, but that's OK.....We're crawling around tending to the (many) wounded in the lull, hoping the communists don't push forward again (we've fought off two counter-attacks already). 
It's been so long since I scripted this, that I have no idea what happens next.....Imperial reinforcements I hope! 

Think I may have said this before but that is one of my all-time favourites.  Several others made by George are also on my favourites list.

Excellent wee vid - thanks for sharing it! Looked like an interesting engagement. I played it as a PBEM and we’d same close encounter in a farm complex when Tiger rolled in and T-34 beat a hasty exit stage rear!

Not mine... I believe the CMBS Winter mod was made by the same guys who made the CMRT winter mod so that's primarily @kohlenklau, @Worghern , @Aristoteles & @benpark.
Plus BFC themselves as the Gustav Line module introduced winter conditions & terrain which then got ported around.
 
It should be noted that all seasonal modtags, official or unnofficial, are basically just "eye candy"... only particularly deep snow or extremely cold temperatures really change in-game conditions & most scenario creators avoid these extremes anyway.

@Bootie Could I trouble you to add this one to TSD (in the absence of a more fully updated version).....This one still works OK and it's primal savagery from start to finish, but I can & will do it (& further Mosul stuff) better in due course. 
@mjkerner  You still up for some CTS uniforms at some point (Probably based on Canadian Infantry), @37mm You still up for a basic Canadian to Arabic voice mod and a couple of (trivial by your standards) weapon swaps?
