  1. CMSF is now a rare collector's item worth many hundreds of dollars and over the next years sure to appreciate in value greatly as a collectible or as a form of bitcoin. I have one for sale currently at the bargain price of $650 right now. It comes with about 15GB of CMSF mods - many of which are now lost to history other than in my unique collection. Next week who knows how many thousands it will be worth!! Send PM for this once in a lifetime opportunity!
  2. Saw the trailer and its a total rip off and spoof of Leone's film complete with music style and a three way gunfight. Could be fun...
  3. Glad all is well with you. I think I have everything you produced up to the June 17(?) Ukr Ground Forces one (seen just above). And am enjoying using them in the TOC scenario tests. Is there anything else I missed?
  4. Welcome back. Wondered what happened to you.
  5. Agreed, as is Leone's previous effort The Good The Bad & the Ugly.
  6. Rutger Hauer, Famke Janssen, Jeroen Krabbe - pretty good ones.
  7. Interesting debunking of myth. Thanks...
  8. Loved the Luftwaffe being forced at gunpoint to use the 88 vs the KV. If only CM could look this good and be as immersive - maybe one day! (Amazed that there is a WW2 lego set. What's next? Auschwitz lego set?)
  9. It would not be a bad idea to simply close this "Disappointed" Forum as it's negative for morale and is not relevant any more.
  10. I love Lexus. Most comfortable car, never breaks down, and service cost like a Toyota.
  11. You using an up to date browser? Eg: I had a lot of problems when I was using IE. Google Chrome works fine.
  12. What's curious is that people seem to always build a German tank.
  13. Looks like we'll need to get 34" or larger monitors to really play with 4K. BTW: Will a 4K UHD TV play a game in as high def (with same image quality) as a monitor? It used to be that computer monitors were higher res and the image much better quality. But, is that still true?
  14. Re CMSF mods in CMSF2 - is it complete incompatibility or a question of the mods needing to be renamed?
  15. Lovely image Hardradi. But when I expanded the image to my full screen I could still barely read the UI. I suspect you have younger eyes... or wear glasses...
  16. IIRC there have been some wonderful scenarios or missions within a campaign which start with just such a recon mission - and some of us at least, find that very entertaining. They are a nice chance from the average assault, assault, assault missions that abound. The point again that I was attempting to make is that to use recon vehicles effectively, the way they were designed to work, one needs fairly large maps so they have a use for their sophisticated optics and/or electronic sensors. Not sure why that is such a controversial concept.
  17. Thought we were talking about modern recon vehicles which have sophisticated systems - not much good if they need to look only 10 meters ahead. Not much point in having systems that are designed to look 1+Km distance in such close ranges as described above. Am simply remarking that there are good reasons to have larger maps in which the systems that are featured in CM2 can be used effectively... whether for recon or transport.
  18. That's how one unbalances one's oppo. Conflict is psychological in basis.
  19. Totally agree. The point I was trying to make is that one needs larger maps to use recon vehicles as they were intended. MOS's 7.5 Sq Km map for his TOC scenario is a good example.
  20. I didn't mean to mount anyone in this situation. (That didn't come out quite right.) (Oops, neither did that... never mind.) Was referring to the interesting idea of automating the process by which vehicles (or inf for that matter) could follow each other in convoy.
  21. One could analogize that a penis is the equivalent of a recon element...
  22. But the other half doesn't. What makes this such a compelling TV soap opera series is wanting to find out what happens next.
  23. Wow... Great way to terminate unwanted staff... Passed it to my exec wife who I know would like to get rid of some.
  24. Ah yes, "Broughton"... He certainly did. And hundreds of years later his violent progeny are still at it: 975 × 600 - carboncostume.com
