It would also be interesting to play any game saves from others- something like a saved scenario, 25% of the way in (or around when everything gears up), for instance. Like the player is 2nd in command, suddenly thrown into the action (and in charge of adapting someone else's plan).

That explains a lot.  I always wondered why they went all in on that campaign and left the East Front to just lay there.  How much do you think they got?  If they had just had an auction I think we could have outbid that guy and got something we really wanted... 

Those Dutch-style buildings look somewhat out of place in Berlin to my old eyes. But, still a good action shot.

Anyone who was ever involved in video game development knows that it never goes according to plan. They probably don't know exactly when it will be done either and don't want to do false promises.

Thanks for doing the tests.  That's valuable info when playing the game.  Gun hits do seem to happen with irritating frequency in CM2.
Dunno what RL data there exists re gun hits, but presumably if such data was not collected it was because it happened so rarely in RL that is was not worth worrying about.  
So, at least we know we have be aware of and work around the CM2issues of hulldown being worse that being in the open plus gun hits...  The only thing that seems to be clear is to (whenever possible) avoid multiple shot duels whether one is hulldown or not.

Maybe it's a feature?  Check with Charles...

Nice link. I'd also point new comers to the top post in the list on the main page entitled "BATTLE DRILL".

Probably a week or two after Fire & Rubble is released.  There are currently place holders for the partisans and an SS unit.   Also might want to add a few of the new vehicles that come with Fire & Rubble.  Then run quick tests again on the four AI plans to make sure nothing was broke by the unit swap, vehicle addition.
