Commanderski reacted to Rokossovski in Bravo!
Hats off to the BFC crew; another great new title. My favorite added feature: a tie between the French and the Indian Army. (And I love that both have different uniform options to toggle between).
Thank you for bringing us such a content-rich multi-module Italian campaign!

Now I start to read the manual... DOH!! Oh well... 😂
I made this for myself and maybe some of you will find it useful as well.
Also attached two PDF versions for Letter and A4.
I'll update it if I got something wrong
Fixed Zealand.

Wee vignette from Poland summer 1944. two German soldiers flee out of the front door of a small house as Soviet infantry pile in the back door. The two fleeing Landsers run into the path of a T-34. One of them cooly takes a knee, aims his panzerfaust and KOs the tank.
View from the hapless T-34s POV.

I think that you are referring to when many years ago "back in the day" when they used to give away the new modules. That was when it was just Combat Mission before CMBB. They don't charge for patches, just for the new modules. They can't really afford to give away new modules anymore as they do take time to program and with all the games out there now some players naturally gravitate to different games and some like me come back after being gone for a while. The amount of posts is not an indication of sales or how popular the game is. It's usually means that there are no problems with the game and no one is complaining. Only a small percentage of people generally post, in some sites you would think the game is dead but there are actually quite a few people playing. As far as deadlines go it's better to have some people complaining about how late it is than to have everybody complaining on a poor product that came out on time.

Oh no! A trio of Shermans crests the hill to ambush two Panthers. One Panther quickly succumbs.
But the odds are in fact 4 to 3 in my favour with two additional Panthers covering my flank.
Within ten seconds, all three Shermans are brewed up from flank shots.

Commanderski reacted to Sequoia in My thanks to all the playtesters.
It's the Holiday for giving thanks Thursday in the U.S. and while I'm grateful Battlefront does what it does, I wanted to give a special call out of thanks to an underappreciated by most group, the playtesters. Many of them put in countless hours of work for no payment, so thanks guys (any gals?), my hat's off to you. We wouldn't be where we are without you.

I've been playing Combat Mission equally as long, and I think it's an amazing outfit with wonderful support - I never got so much escapism in my life before. CMSF2 was incredible - a huge leap forward from SF1. R2V sounds fabulous. I'm super impatient - I check the site multiple times a day - but I'm still playing all the other games. None of them have got stale.
Given that Combat Mission is a boutique game produced to a high standard, and that what they've provided is so good, the griping really annoys me.

I think some people actually have, they are quite a dedicated bunch. The game is also insanely detailed down to every ship of any kind that ever floated in the Pacific from every nation and every pilot by name for the US.

In War in the Pacific Admiral's edition you can play the game day by actual day so it will take you at least 4 years to complete a campaign.
