Played and repeatedly lost all of Steel Panthers games. Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far was a classic. I think I wore out M1 Tank Platoon as well.

Dude. Get the demo. Two different worlds between the old engine and the new engine. Yeah CMSF is contemporary. At least try the Marine demo. The Marines are fun with their 13 man squads and ample firepower.

Welcome! Glad to see the storms missed you! I've been playing CMx1 for too long now. Not quite since it all started, but almost. I think you won't be disappointed.

It's weird. There is no friendly fire. That being said. Friendly troops can be hurt by friendly HE, (grenades too) in CMSF. Friendly tanks will shoot "through" friendly tanks which are at 100% capability. Friendly bullets do not hurt the trooper on the ground. But as stated above HE will. But that's in CMSF.

That's the fastest 75mm gun I've ever seen. His first two shots were pretty quick.

I'm sure I'll get the hankering to play every once in a while. CMA too. It usually happens after watching something on tv which will make me want to play. But CMBN will consume me for a while.
