Class action suit

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how many people we need to represent in order to gain class action status? I am counting on those of us that took the next week off work to play the game, only to have it not be released. That's lost/wasted vacation time (easy to put a $ value on), attorney's fees, trebel damages, mental anguish, etc. I suppose even if we can't get class action status, we can still file suit individually, although that won't be as appealing and we would individually have to find representation.

I second the motion for tacos... mmmm... tacos.

OP is an idiot. Aside from the fact that no Judge would even consider the suit (gf is a special prosecutor for my county and confirms this by maniacal laughter) but we'd be putting the very company who creates these wonderful games... games so good that you yourself took time off of work for... completely out of business. Buy a box of tissues and maybe spend the time waiting with a good book and a nice cup of coffee. Make that decaf, you seem a bit tense.

I apologize. I will endeavor in the future to follow along in the witty banter and bad puns of my constituents. The good thing is, my apparent rectal-cranial inversion appears to be only a passing condition brought upon by endless tales of frivolity.

I've been here before, a looooong long time ago. Back when CMBO was new and shiny. I agree though, not the best returning post. Is what it is.

You, gentlemen, are correct. We cannot form a class for this action. I laugh too, as Dodger pointed out, that I could have been so naive. So I spent the afternoon doing more productive things, other than my job. I have been in contact with the MA State Attorney General's office and asked them to look into the matter. I was assured that it is reasonable based upon the grounds of misrepresentation and violation of goodwill. They are currently busy with the PS3 debacle but will look into this shortly (or so I have been told). I have chosen to seek counsel myself, since at this point, its pretty much Friday and I have no ability to move or change my next weeks vacation.

I have heard other people's cries of frustration, and will be offering the services of the attorneys office once my own action is filed. Have faith, everyone! I am with you !

Riiiiiiight. Well good luck with that. You should try suing that tornando yesterday while you're at it too.
