I was in charge of (graveyard shift) in their Experimental Shop. My crew ran the equipment all night long 7 days per week as did day and swing shifts. When the equipment broke we repaired it and documented how many hours and under what the conditions were for each part that gave up. So the Engineering Shop could design/re-design the parts.
