The MPG will allow the UA to phase out almost all other direct fire platforms (AFV, IFV, APC, etc). The next video will showcase the infantry dismount models that resemble out houses and telephone booths. The crew served weapons are humbly based on wood sheds for rural operations and kiosks for urban tactical options!

Haiduk
It's claimed UKR diversion group elininated Russians in Chystopillia village, Zaporizhzhia oblast, but this is 16 km deep from frontline... Either mistaken geolocation, or this could be local partisans. Edited June 5, 2023 by Haiduk

Edit: and if the geolocate is correct and Russia supply convoys are going to get shot at in every. one horse town in the land bridge the Russians are about to have a VERY bad week. Battlefront.com
This is starting to take shape. What I see Ukraine doing is pushing in a couple of widely separated places that are probably pretty easily taken with fairly small forces. This will keep the Russians guessing about intent, while at the same time posing significant challenges for Russian units defending these sectors. At the same time we're seeing the efforts in Belgorod apparently INCREASING and the Russians still not being able to handle them. More confusing and stress. The killing of the Russian Colonel is a major bonus. There also might be some significant partisan activities going on in the south in the rear of Russian defenders. If the report from Chystopillia is true (and I see no reason to doubt it), they are in the sweet spot of close enough to the frontline to cause disruption, but far enough to the rear that there's not much opposition. I hope there's a lot more of this planned, because this is exactly the sort of partisan activity that can have a major impact on conventional operations. Especially if the defenders are poor quality and already jumpy. The propaganda that Ukraine has been working on over the past few months seems to be kicking into high gear. The hacking of TV channels to broadcast Ukrainian intimidation propaganda and deep fake stuff is brilliant. Russia has been stumbling badly in this domain since the war started, but my gut says it's getting worse by the day. And throughout all of this... Ukraine hasn't committed hardly anything to the fight yet. Steve

If you think about it, it's way easier to find spare aircraft than spare tanks here in the West. There were some news today that even Germany is reconsidering participation in the aircraft coalition. My hunch is that during the winter and spring we'll see a huge air battle over Crimea, one that RU Air Force won't be able to win due to pure geography, after the land bridge is cut. danfrodo
wow, the plot thickens even more. I was thinking about corrosion & probing/opportunistic attacks like we've seen, but SOF or 'partisan' attacks in RU frontline-rear areas? Could a UKR fan ask for any more from his team here in just the beginning of the game? And, like Steve said above, UKR hasn't even employed its best new units. Plus the AMX10 is doin' some nice damage it sounds like. Those troops have much better firepower support due to these lovely machines. Just like I was hoping would happen. Meanwhile, RU is already down due to 'own goal' as civil war inside the military/paramilitary takes hold. billbindc
Rumors that the Nova Kakhovka dam got blown tonight. Not confirmed but an interesting and hugely consequential move if true. It would mean at a minimum that Russia was expecting an attack of some force over the Dnieper. Important caveat: it is coming from Russian Telegram channels.
