There is potential for some very interesting Pacific war situations.. Khalkhin Gol and the early war from 1935 up to 1942-43 has some very interesting situations, the Japanese fought the Soviets, the Brits and Commonwealth, and the US.. how can that not be enticing? But this is not my area of expertise, and thus not really on my radar as a subject, though I do think there would be a market for it... if done right.

While I'm not sure about this, I was recently accused of being a Nazi when I told someone I tend to play as the Germans.  Wow!

Because most modern young war gamers aren't educated. and thus, believe anyone who play's axis. are Nazi's and are baddies... seriously..lol beyond stupid.. even had someone quote a percentage like, wha???? NO! go play with a stick!.

Yes to everything you said.  Comet, yes.  Static weapons as flavour objects?  You mean destroyed?  I think some modded options are available for that?  Okay you might have to swap a dead cow (already modded, not sure) for a dead gun, but it might be what you want.
What about my IR Panther suggestion though?  The more I think about it, it could be great as it's a 'first of a kind', even if it only saw one or two actions in real life.

😄 . A sdkfz just seems common sense, it's a piece of the terrain so to say..I can just picture one that's been ambushed with the 88 in tow. going back to towed weapons "packing" and "limbering" time's. I do think in all fairness these need to be worked on. there is plenty of footage of the smaller ones and even sometimes the medium ones being pushed around with a competent crew. I for one do like the missions where you have to set up a static defense with the detailed work of getting the trucks in the right place etc.
Brummbar's are a unique vehicle interesting to. I do have a book that details they were deployed to a unit in normandy, but like I mentioned before it may be out of the scope or theatre of the game, (HOWEVER!!!!----that was when it was just normandy, obviously the setting has moved to include market garden etc, so..??? come on!!!) lol
Stug IV - again totally agree, although a re-skinned Stug III (mod or BFC) might be difficult to tell apart? !!!! blasphemy!!! if folks can't tell the difference they should stick to solitaire! lmao my life! lol

British trucks don't excite me as much, but then I am British (just like your good self). !!!!!! blasphemy no2" ! ! I'm a yank, be I was raised and schooled in good old blighty! so, I don't destroy the English language so bad, lol (Derby = DARby lmao) father was USAF. 
I would have said for curiosity a Sturmtiger, but then I remembered we already have it somewhere (CMRT?). yes its in CMFB, altho it would be nice to have it on another theatre, again tho. there were only like 11 built. and I believe they were all in the west.  but maybe..

Having said that I must confess to a fondness for CMBN.  And CMFB.  And CMFI.  The order I wrote that is interesting (probably to me only) but hey ho.
I'm 18, have long blonde hair and a bodacious body.  I like animals, helping people and doing yoga at the top of Mount Fuji. Well okay that's not all true, but some is. 
And nothing to brag about but I discovered CMRT and then the other titles about two and a half years ago.  Wow, where was my head buried 😆?  Partly in the Il2 skies and SH3 Grey Wolves seas ironically...

I'm 52.  Started back at the beginning with CMBO and have been at it ever since.  Also a huge Eastern Front fan so CMBB took it to all new depths.  I had a PBEM opponent in Sweden and we literally fought Eastern Front battles religiously for over seven years, exchanging consistent turns.  We fought the war longer than the actual combatants! Ha!  What other game has ever given that kind of longevity?
I honestly do think RT/FR might just be my favorite title of all.

I’m 33. I’d played the Close Combat series games since I was 11 or 12. I had never heard of Combat Mission but I had always thought “man, Close Combat would be so much better if it was 3D and had larger units.” Discovered Combat Mission around 2016 and never looked back.

I will hold Steve to his promise of some very late war goodies.
I may never get my E series, but he did have some real fun things in mind.

as we are on the tone. lol. I was a CMX1 fan. had them all and still do lol....(be it bit troublesome to select the tank riders when on back of tank currently) anywho...
 
I first joined the forum when Normandy was announced. been glued to my screens ever since, and is the number one game I keep coming back to.

please! I know it's been discussed a few times, even from the developer's side of things, the Wishlist. where does one stop etc??? BUT. I would love to see a few more additions.
CM Normandy ---- would be great to see the addition of things like, SDKFZ 7 (for towing of larger AT guns, 88?) Bumbar (it did serve in Normandy.be it late in the theatre) Stug IV (my favorite) lol... opel mulitz ???? 
even the british matador truck?
 
In a nut shell...If they are willing and are able. I'd be happy to pay for such additions. and more than a battle packs worth 😜

I'm 66. Not sure how long I've been playing, but it's since the original CMBO came out. Which seems ages ago now.

If you double-click the unit, the entire formation is selected. That may be it. You just need to click once to select the individual tank, and tell it where to go independent of the parent formation.

At-Z.  However the red lines are purely informational and do not join units together like a giant red rubber band.  The enemy could use Sturm Scissors and ruin everything!

The bug has been patched and fix. The patches are being tested now to ensure nothing else is broken. 
As one of the original people who pointed out the 4.0 HE bug (anyone remember the video?) I know that it can be frustrating waiting for a patch. But, I also know that the bug is 100% fixed, having played the patch that addresses the issues. The bug is squashed, and the patch is coming.
