All I know is when my enemy has tigers they are rolling pillboxes of endless death and mayhem.  When I have tigers they are fragile little butterflies.  Though once I blundered into one in a nice little Norman town w a terribly under-gunned churchill -- but first shot broke the tigers gun.  I spent the next 10 minutes chasing the tiger around all of northern France and blasting it w that dreadful Churchill 75 until I finally got them to bail.

what?  that's it?? that's all the Dead Puritan has?  No obscure 80s UK music thing we don't understand?  No obscure UK history thing we don't understand?  No references to other UK things we can't even categorize because we have no idea what he's talking about at all?  This is a great disappointment.

maybe I don't need pre-order because I will never ever ever ever ever play CM again (kidding).  Last night lost 4 tiger tanks in 60 seconds in St Vith battle in CMFB (one tiger1, three tiger2).  To 57mm & sherman 75mm fire!  Two destroyed, two immobilized.  Flanking fire. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  
I know this is realistic WW2 warfare, based on what I've read, but it HURTS

I don't think there's much benefit to pre-order.  And I will pre-order the very minute it opens.  😀

I will follow your example. And the day we can download I take the rest of the week off, retreat into my study room and only open the door for my wife if she brings me food. 😃 If she won't  New York Pizza will have a good week.

Starting at Iron level -- bravo! you are one bad dude.  I have been playing for years and still use veteran level.

Just watched Mosul, quite good.  What a mess to have to live through in real life -- assuming one lives through it.

this is ridiculous.  It's classic old fascist claptrap where they say "what about Stalin"  when they are really saying "Hitler had the right idea" but know they can't say that out loud so do it this way.   And then we have memoirs of captured german soldiers who complain how badly they were treated by the soviets -- after having killed ~15% of the soviet population.  they were treated horribly and suffered terribly, but no worse than what was done to those hundreds of thousands (millions?) of soviet prisoners who the germans let die in 1941/42.  So let's not play the "who was worse" game. 
yeah yeah yeah, we all know Stalin was a murderous monster of unbelievable proportions.  I read a book on Stalin and was shocked that he was even worse than I thought when I already thought he was an incredible monster.  Which somehow gets Hitler off the hook, and also shows that the allies were hypocrites, and we should've allied w hitler to stop the commies, blah blah blah. 
But all that really matters here is some russian folks made a movie that has lots of 45mm AT guns shooting at some realistic-looking german tanks, and that's all I really care about.  I am not watching this for it's literary elegance or great moral enlightenment or historical accuracy (other than the gear, which has to be right).  I just want some CM-looking battles on my TV. I usually fast forward through the pathetically scripted non-battle sections anyway (who can write such drivel?).  So they made it into russian propaganda? who cares, everyone does that -- as if hollywood never made nationalistic, propaganda-filled war movies.  Just show me some good battles. 
And herbert hoover never had to make the choice of which monster to back, so it's easy for him to throw stones later.  If the soviets had fallen how long before the US was facing armadas of german Uboats sinking all our commerical shipping?  What choice did we really have other than to back Devil #2 to fight Devil#1?

I hear ya, Vacillator.  My panzers & troops have their hands full at St Vith.  Did no one tell these stupid Amis that my panzers are perfect fighting machines that cannot be stop by the vastly inferior weapons & tactics of the allies??  I just lost 2 PZ4s to 'obsolete, useless' 57mm guns. 
I could get mad about F&R delays, or I could instead get mad at my enemies in CM where at least I have some agency in the outcome.

read the briefing, it's your intel report take you time looking at map, especially from ground level, moving along a path you are considering for your advance Then read the briefing again
