dragonwynn got a reaction from PEB14 in Any good user made campaigns?
If you would like to try a few more CMRT campaigns here are  the links to some I have done. All of the campaigns have their own mod folders included and they are tagged so they are specific to those campaigns with the exception of the last one which has its own instructions.
    The Cross of Iron

The Hill (3 Battle Mini Campaign)

    The Last Panzer

Copy the mod folder to your dataz and delete the .cam file. Use this link for the updated .cam file

Special Note: This campaign uses the Finnish Mod (which is included) designed by a talented team of modders. Everything you need is included in the download.
    Rattenkrieg

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifgolk2pozx9ox0/Rattenkrieg.cam?dl=0
Special Note: This campaign uses the Stalingrad Mod created by that team which you can find the link to in the CMRT forums. You must download that mod first  and I recommend creating another CMRT directory clear of any other mods as this one will conflict with some other mods out there. Then install that mod to the new directory (dataz) and then add the mod folder I have included in the download. Delete the original .cam file and use the one from the above link which is the updated.
If you decide to try any of these and you have questions please feel free to ask here or PM me.

dragonwynn got a reaction from RockinHarry in New file at the Repository: In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow (2014-12-07)
In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow was my first attempt at campaign creation and is still very special to me. Since then I have created a few more and during that time learned a great deal of the mechanics as well as the creative process of making campaigns/scenarios on CMx2. I also learned that I had made a huge number of mistakes in "Poppies". The AI was atrocious,( I was clueless in how to create and setup AI plans) and the campaign showed it. It was my first attempt at mod tagging, of which the mod folder was forgotten to be attached to the upload.
So I have gone back and revisted "Poppies" and have totally reworked the entire campaign. The storyline is the same as are the units and the characters that make up the storyline. However I have made what I hope are some good improvements that will make this campaign what I had envisioned it to be in the beginning.
The AI has completely been revamped on all missions. It is now more aggressive and the units are tagged to their AI plans correctly. All the plans have been adjusted or changed completely. Setup zones for the enemy should be correct now. Triggers have been added on alot of missions. The German forces will not go down easy.
Some German units have been changed or had their positions moved around.
The scoring system in the campaign has also been reworked. There are many more opportunities for both sides to score points so every unit is important as its loss can hurt.
I have also reworked some of the maps slightly. Some roads have been straightened out (mainly on the first 2 maps) to elimnate the motion sickness caused by zigzagging .
A few maps have had small things like walls or boccage adjusted, mainly visual stuff.
The heart of this campaign is the same. You take the role of 1st Lt. Stevens as he moves his company across the war torn landscape of Normandy, France. It is a story of men at war.
Hopefully those that played it previously will revisit it again as it will offer a different and hopefully better challenge. For those that have not played it I hope you will give it a try. As always let me know of any problems or bugs.
Here is the link and I hope it proves enjoyable. Put the .cam file in your campaign folder in your game directory and the mod folder which is included into your data/z directory.

    CMFB Campaign: Fields of Tears
Fields of Tears is a interactive CMFB Campaign that picks up where my CMBN Campaign: In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow leaves off and follows the actions of Captain Charles Stevens and A Company, 31st Tank Battalion, 7th Armored Division, around St. Vith, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge.
It requires the latest version of CMFB and all immersion mods needed are in the download. They are tagged to this campaign only.
It is playable from the Blue Side only.
The campaign is a story driven campaign like "Poppies" where you must keep Stevens and other important personnel alive and still complete the mission objectives to advance in the campaign. The storyline is in the Designer Notes for each mission.
The campaign begins with a mission in Germany and then continues after the Germans launch their Ardennes offensive Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein. Elements of the 7th Armored Division, the 31st Tank Battalion, including Captain Stevens and A Company are sent to the St. Vith area where they are to make contact and destroy the enemy forces advancing on the town.

Assorted damaged vehicle textures by me
Special Note: I used Worghern Blitzkrieg Environment : CMFB 2.0 while designing the campaign which is not included in the download. I highly recommend adding this as the campaign was designed and modified using these textures as well as the Winter Mod for CMFB which will work seamlessly with Worgherns mod.. While it can be played without these I highly recommend using them as the tags in the campaign will pick them up.

Thanks for the support and suggestions guys. I am looking forward to CMSF2 for sure, lots of good potential for scenario/campaign designers there. I am leaning towards not using the SK's but keep the story line around the US response. Core US units will be the 2nd Infantry Division (Indian Head) (uniforms done) and the 1 Bn 2nd ABCT (Black Knights) which I can now model their uniform insignias. If my research is correct the 2nd ABCT is the next rotational team in Korea (they may be there now).
The idea behind this is North Korea takes advantage of certain "situations" and attacks across the DMZ. They have upgraded some of their military abilities (how is outlined in the storyline) but due to limited resources (fuel, supplies, etc) they are on a tight timeline to secure specific objectives or they know the invasion will fail. It will be the US resopnse to prevent them from reaching said objectives.
Ive tried to model their vehicles and armor based on research I have been able to dig up so hopefully their TO&E will be somewhat realistic. They will lack the experience levels of the US forces but will have large numbers of troops and especially lots of artillery. Hopefully when its all said and done it will be a fun play through.

Ok I think its time to release this beast for public consumption. Below are the recent adjustments and fixes based on playtester suggestions.
    1. I have found the save game issue and fixed. I had  some " : " in the file name it did not like. The " : " has been destroyed and you should be able to save in the middle of a mission.
    2. Added additional time to all missions as requested.
    3. The troops of SRY have been corrected and now include Lille Fiskerby's beloved Sherman Fireflies. (Thank you Lillie for pointing that out.)
    4. Also added a few more historical names to CO's of various units. Still could not find enough info to name all of them.
    5. Corrected briefings where changes were made.
    6. Made force adjustments in some missions based on tester suggestions. Some additions and some reductions. But the OOB is still historically accurate for all the missions based on my research.
    7. Added setup zone to one mission that was omitted.
    8. Made a few terrain adjustments to improve LOS in some missions.
    9. Adjusted some VP parameters in a few missions.
Thank you to all the playtesters who helped me with this campaign.
If any other issues come to light please let me know through this thread or PM and I will correct. Hopefully most everything is right now. This was a huge undertaking and my first truely historical campaign so I hope it proves enjoyable.
IMPORTANT: Before downloading please reread the opening section of this thread for the campaign details. This will not be for everyone. Its big, maps are big, everything is big so it may task older systems. It will require patience and management. But if you stick with it you will play through a little known but important battle of WW2.

Added a few new screenshots from one of the maps showing some fall foliage detail and more Korean buildings. Also added screenies of uniforms of both the US units in the campaign.

Here is a link to some preliminary screenshots of a work in progress. Red Dragon is a campaign depicting a North Korean blitzkrieg into South Korea in autumn of 2018. I have modded nearly every building in CMBS to what hopefully will give an Asian feel. Terrain, uniforms, vehicles have also been modded. This is my first attempt at modding so it may not appeal to some.
I have done a huge amount of research into this to make the conflicting sides as accurate as possible. However obvious limitations in the BS game engine will limit this. I have even modded some of the Russian voice files to Korean for the NK side.
The SK will use the coyote brown slot so nothing I can do on voices there. Im still debating on using them in the campaign.
Anyhoo here is the link to some screens. Any feedback is welcome.

Ok managed to get the North Koreans switched to the Ukarinian side. Reworked all uniforms, vehicles and silhouttes as well as got the voice files switched over. I may add to those later. Also reworked some of the fall foilage, hopefully will give a good representation of the season. First map is coming along so the project is slowly grinding forward.
Still undecided about the South Korean presence in the campaign. The uniforms look decent but not being able to use the Korean voice files and faces is a bummer. Thinking about keeping them involved in the storyline but not actually making a apperance and just use US units. The campaign will take place in one part of the the country and is a small part of the bigger storyline so that option has some merit. Thoughts on this are appreciated. I really want to give a realistic experience to the player (at least as far as the game engine allows) so would it be a viable option to not include the SK's visually?

dragonwynn got a reaction from 37mm in CMRT Campaign: The Last Bridge
    CMRT: The Last Bridge
The Last Bridge is a CMRT mini campaign that takes place in the last days of the war during The Battle of Berlin. Hopefully it will give a good depiction of the brutal street fighting in those final days.
It is comprised of 4 missions you must successfully complete to win the campaign. If you lose the first mission you will be branched to an additional mission to have a chance to regain your honor. However the drawback is it will put additional stress on your core units.
It will require certain mods to play which will be listed below.
The campaign should be considered hypothetical even though the units are historical. However a historical timeline is included in the designer notes of the campaign for reference and interest.
It requires the latest version 4 of CMRT.
The campaign mission is to control four bridges over the Spree River and the Industrial Zone.
    About the Campaign:
It takes place from April 28th, 1945 until April 30th, 1945 near the Alexanderplatz District of Berlin. The Industrial District lies on a island of sorts where the Spree River divides into separate waterways.
Your mission is to hold the 4 bridges and the Industrial District and complete the objectives of each scenario.
    The Details:
To be successful you must preserve as much of your core forces as possible between missions. As in the real battle the Russians have a endless supply of men and material where you have limited resources and reinforcements.
Supply and ammunition will be stressed to the limit but you will get opportunities to be refitted. However, resource management during the first several missions is important. Make every round count.
    Map:
The map was created by me and is a heavily modified Berlin map from my previous campaign The Last Panzer using the amazing Stalingrad Mod by Umlaut and NigelP. The entire campaign takes place on this one map.
Mods: For this campaign to look and play as I have designed it you will need the following mods.
All credit goes to the authors of these mods.
    The Stalingrad Mod - http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3776
    (Special Note)
I have modified some of this mod to include German slogans and propaganda posters on some of the buildings to give it a Berlin feel.

Umlauts Factory Mod - (Required for the Stalingrad Mod) -  http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=266&
(Read the installation instructions carefully for both of these. I recommend a separate CMRT install for this to work best)
If you already have these two mods (and I expect many will as they are awesome) then you will be good to go.
I have included the rest of the required mods in the campaign download. They are tagged to this campaign only:
    1. Aris Vehicle Mods (I have slightly modified these with specific unit insignia or damage features)
     a. Tiger 1 Mod
     b. Panther Mod
     c. StugIII Mod
     d. SDKfz 251D Mod
     e. T-34/85 Mod

     h. OT-34/76 Mod
     i. Opel Blitz Mod
    2. Umlauts King Tiger Henschel Mod
    3. Mords Portrait Mods (Also slightly modified with unit insignia)
    4. EZ's Uniforms and Faces Mod
    5. Various Additional Terrain and Effects Features
    6. Russian Telogreika Uniform Mod by Kohleklau
    7. Custom Loading Music
These mods will add the immersion that I designed the campaign with.
