I'm using CMH with you, and it works perfectly. As you say only chat is missing from your app. And some else I'm playing with has no turn file manager at all. I just told him to ignore the chat files in the dropbox. So far no problems at all.

Next time you can use a target armor cover ark, and set to to cover the entire map (if you want the team to engage any armor on sight), or restrict it to a given diameter (if you want the team to engage only closer targets).
I mean, there are technical problems concerning the orders we can give to the troops, in terms of complexity the tools we have do not let us take all the actions we could imagine. But some tools are there for a reason. If I just read the title of this thread, the first thing that comes up to my mind is: use a target armor cover ark (they were introduced in the game for this very reason).

Sweet. Reminds me of the highway in Normandy some years ago. The fog was so thick buildings appears so suddenly out of the gloom it was as if they were leaping at the car!

I do understand that many play these scenarios several times, but I think keeping them in the same positions so you can try different tactics in subsequent play-throughs is more important than giving a different look each time for added challenge. The latter is not really the intent of these tactical problems. The goal is for you to play them several times and work out why certain things worked and others didn't, all from the same setup, otherwise you might not "get" the lesson they are designed to teach.
Note, this will probably be different as we move into the more advanced Company level problems, where planning, analysis, decision points, and battle reconnaissance are the subjects rather than low level tactics.

I agree with Kohlenklau. It WILL be great. These guys NEVER let us down so far. Screenshots are Alpha, so let's be realistic about them. Rejoice about all the units and vehicles included. This year it's really going to be a great Christmas with very little peace on earth.

Let us think positively. It will be great. Give it time. They should set up the forum and let the ideas flow in. Maybe 1000 ideas and 5 could work. 5 they may not have thought of. Free ideas.
Like snow drift flavor objects. 3D objects that can tuck into the lower edge of a building to make snow look more intense and deep. Same thing around the base of trees and poles, etc.
Rocking Harry had some really great stuff. I sure hope they filter through this and jot down some that they should seriously consider. No harm if it goes in the round file, at least they took 5 seconds to read it.

Any resulting sanity loss from TRADOC's World Equipment Guide 2011. Despite all the goodies modeled in the game, I believe you'll be blown away by what else is out there on the OPFOR side of the house. Threats are conveniently ranked by tier, too.
