Edit: I should mention that I am not insulting the Russian military when I talk about its inexperience, waging war "far" from home is always difficult, one only needs to look at the early North African campaign in World War 2 for my country's expeditionary teething difficulties.

    From what I've read Vladimir the Syrian sands have not been kind to Russian aircraft, I believe that that and Russia's inexperience in expeditionary actions such as this are to blame for the readiness/logistical issues.

    A .50 CAL is more than capable against its near peer threat who I am guessing you are "referring" to is Russia. The .50 CAL is a huge threat to BTR's, MTLB's and even BMP's, especially with SLAP rounds. The 40mm grenades are also capable but obviously less so at range due to travel time and limited accuracy. Combine that with a highly mobile vehicle and sophisticated thermal optics and the Stryker is more than capable of defeating its "counterparts". However as a fan of the stryker, I have no problem seeing a 30mm cannon slapped onto her!

    I still play the original Tomb Raider in Dos Box on my Windows 7 PC, look up a guide on how to get old games like that to run on new machines, only in rare cases is it impossible to do so.

    This has been reported in at least 3 other threads over the past year or so. Honestly BFC needs to have a disclaimer on the purchase page for these expansions to tell people they will not be able to play the campaigns if they have 3.0, its bordering on false advertising.

    There is nothing worrying about this, don't use target light on close targets, that encourages infantry to use there rifles. On target they will always use the mortar first.
