  1. Hey guys I just bought the Shock Force: Marines bundle, and I am looking for the best mods to get going, and maybe a few tips! I am coming from CMBN and Gustav Line, so maybe there are a few things I should know transitioning from WW2 to modern day! Thanks.
  2. Hey guys, I have a question regarding the ai on defense in quick battles. Seeing as the AI is horrible at attacking, I figured I would let it defend and I would attack. As I began to play a scenario I noticed that I wasn't running into...anything. After about 10 turns and most of the map I found the ai units all facing the wrong direction with most of them at the main spawn. Now was this because of the map/force selection I picked for them, or are there no plans for defense on these maps? Thanks.
  3. It is most certainly a fantastic book, I recommend it to anyone, historian or not.
  4. As the title says I am looking for an opponent in my very first PBEM game! However I do not have the Human to human helper so if anyone has a link to that it would be great! As for my game version I am running version 2.01 of Commonwealth forces.
  5. I am not entirely sure how this is boring, I find this incredibly interesting and as a rookie I am learning a lot!
  6. So when i begin my games I usually send out small groups of men to try and identify/spot enemy positions by shooting and obviously observing. However is it gamey to fire at the Ai in the campaign to elicit a response? Or is it more realistic? Thanks, an odd question I know.
  7. Hey guys i am slogging through the Panzer Lehr campaign as i type this and have finally broken through the American defenses outside St Jean de Daye and I am now attacking it! I just have one question, is this the last mission of the campaign? In the briefing it says that this is indeed the culmination point, but as i have seen some campaigns have bonus missions if you have done well enough. Also i would like to express how fantastic a campaign it is, I have had a blast playing through it. Since i am still learning (and getting better all the time !) it has really taught me a few things and forced me to hone my skills. I also just love the history of this campaign as well!
  8. "Target Reference Point" Wherever the TRP is it allows you to call in artillery there without direct LOS.
