In real life, so as not to crack a torsion bar or break track linkages when the road wheels snap back.  The rails are a raised surface; the rail-bed slopes away from them.  A tank needs to ease over such things if you don't want it's suspension to fail.

Yea, it was disheartening to see that happen.  I'm glad it's disabled.
The Kettlerian Universe is very different from how I perceive reality but I certainly respect John's passion and the wonderful nuggets he finds.  We would likely not get along face-to-face but he merits all the innate social courtesies I can offer as well as the respect of his humanity which is only right.  Viva la difference!

Hie ye to the Few Good Men (http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/).  Join their ranks and you will find fine opponents.  FGM member @Bulletpoint designed that battle.  It vexed me sorely!

My Quick Battle Maps folder for CMBN has almost 900 maps. Is there a way to tell which QB maps came packed in the original game, and which came from which particular module / addon? File date helps a little, but not as much as you'd think..... I'd consider installing the game on another laptop and taking note that way, but I'd hate to use up one of my limited number of installs just for that.
Since there seems to be demand, what I may do is just release the CMBN version in pieces -- first with only the original game's QB maps, then uploading newer pdf versions as I add Commonwealth Forces, Market Garden, etc....
    Thanks.

And yes, that is a new Italian theater-specific Sherman type not seen in other titles. M4A3 Sherman with late-style loader's hatch and mounting the muzzle break, but on a VVSS suspension chassis with track end extensions fitted. Grouser cleats were mounted on racks on the turret sides. Spare track links positioned directly in front of the driver, and (not seen on this model) the real vehicles removed the turret basket to give the loader easier access to stowed rounds.

Is there any chance that there could be multiple payoffs for BF with doing this TOE hard slog for Rome to Victory? For instance, the work done for US kitted out French forces appearing in this module being the basis for them appearing in CMBN/CMFB via a module/pack?

Emphasis quoted in bold are mine.  Specific to them, can consideration be given to publishing something that shows all those differences?  My biggest struggle with QB's (besides my own lack of knowledge ) is a lack of detailed information explaining how German Fusiliers differ from Grenadiers or American Glider Infantry from Airborne Infantry, etc., etc., etc.  The community created Dealership mods fall short in this regard.  I would really appreciate documents or spreadsheets showing how platoons differ from each other, ideally for all the CM games but R2V might be a good place to start.  I would volunteer to help if it's just a matter of time and labor.

Harken, Dear Sulomon. Sit and I shall spin ye a tale.
Once upon a time there lived a haunted forum full of angry trolls led by an evil Canadian wizard who drew his dark powers from a magical Waffen SS manikin. This cult of personality disorder, bound by their hatred for the light, began predicting the downfall of BF in the year of our lord, 2000 and 7. They'd gather together, under the jaundiced light of a gibbous moon to gnash their teeth and drown kittens, while fantasizing about how Steve was gonna run his company into the ground do to all his bad game making decisions. For a fortnight and a grand age did they conspire and ruminate. During all their dire predictions and dark prophecies did BF persevere; releasing CMSF and it's 3 modules, CMA, CMBN, CMFI, CMRT, CMBS, CMFB, 3 upgrades, 3 modules, double digit patches, 1 vehicle pack and 2 battle packs. 11 years later, the vile Canadian Wizard having been banished to the blackest anus of the internet by the very devils he worshiped, his mutinous followers either turned to stone from years of hate or consumed by the very hellfire in their souls, the forum now consists of one guy who sits around talking to himself. The Wargaming Gods call that irony.
Harken well, dear Sulomon, for there is a moral to this tale I tell to thee. Sometimes, gentle Sulomon, a cigar is just a cigar. And sometimes games and patches are delayed because they just need more time. Let not the demons of rumor and despair take thee. Seek enlightenment, reach for the truth, for if ye don't ye may just end up with a Waffen SS manikin in thy boudoir and a penchant for dunking baby cats!

    The End.

I added a few links to the first post. One from today and two that I found searching for an answer to another question that needed adding.
    How to use Mod tags
Instructions on how to use mod tags with scenario authorship
    Supply platoons and ammo dumps
A post discussing how vehicles from the same platoon converted into ammo dumps combine into a single ammo dump.
