JM Stuff

I recall having mods for Africa; Balkan; Al Nusra; Syrope; Twilight 2000; IDF; Iraqis; Mali-Pakistan; India etc.  But, can't find and do not recall any Korean mods.  Sorry...  

The purpose of my post was to provide the links for training purposes, as someone said they had a hard time finding basic Blender tuts. Nothing more.

I will eventually have Blender as a extra tool in the tool box since it is free, I just like using max.
I am a 3ds max user myself. On and off with it since 1999. Last six years I have really gotten into using it for lots of things (ex: Tyflow, Phoenix FD for product rendering /animation, modelling, etc). I am also a big user and fan of Zbrush.

I am always keeping my eye out for tutorials /courses, as Blender courses can be used with max and visa versa, if you know what you are doing.

If the others are a little pricey, I can also recommend searching Udemy for a good rated introduction course for Blender when they have their sales going. Dirt cheap at times. However I took mine a step further and made it the Pz III J special. Almost the same way Oddball made his gun larger in Kelly's Heroes. 🙂

It is the danish M23 helmet. Probably the ugliest helmet ever designed. I asked JM if he could make it for me - for a danish scenario I am planning.

You did something with quality normaly a gif is something very quick and with low quality. 
I have also ffmpeg but I never use it in details, in fact  I downloaded it only, because I needed to open a certain file, but it was interresting so I keep it since now and now that you give me some commands I will check it in details.
I am curious an I took a view of yours explanations, I dont understand,but with a little practice this will be better, my next learn program will be probably how work a script, I discover that the modern games working a lot with scripts, so is my next step, only to be more awake about new generation of games, I guess Python is a good base for this ...

One of the joys of this CM war gaming hobby is the people you get to meet and if you get the modding virus in your blood, you often get to work with them and interact on projects. I reached out to somebody to ask for a contribution and here is something great he made for the CMRT Romanian Mod. Thank you @jamxo !

What I would think when I would see the WW2 bmps's is that somebody at BFC hooked up with a WW2 uniform collector or a museum and would lay out the actual uniform very neatly and take a high res photo with proper lighting as needed by the game, then flip it over and do the back. same with sleeves and the pants. Then in photoshop move it all around as needed.
For CMCW, Bil said he was doing these type chores for gear and such. He musta went out to his garage or up in the attic and took photos of his old 782 gear!
 

This is the Cold War DLC for ARMA 3.
It shows the good and bad.  The movement is good.  Some cool weapons and vehicles.  Fairly atmospheric.  But you can see there is almost no coordination or cohesion with your own troops or by the AI.  Its like every individual is on its own missions and has its own tactics.
