Minute 03-02: The infantry of 2 Section advance along the left side of the road with support from Sgt Jameson. First another round near the corner and then another on the barn. Figure 37 Supporting Fire Figure 38 Supporting Fire Once Lance Corporal Graham reach the bend in the road with Sgt Jameson’s tank not far behind the tank begins firing on the bridge approach. No enemy contacts are spotted. The view of the bridge is not good enough to assess its condition. Figure 39 More Supporting Fire Meanwhile Cpt. Ferguson put some HE on the farm house where the fire from a few moments ago came from. Figure 40 Cpt Ferguson Lt McDougal following behind the capable Lance Corporal Graham has not heard any enemy fire nor had any reports of enemy sightings. He feared the explosion they heard after the final artillery barrage might have been the bridge being blown. If that is the case they have failed in their mission. He needs to push forward to see what is happening so he can report back as soon as they know what the status is. If they have lost the bridge it will cause more delays that the cannot afford. Minute 02: Orders We need to get eyes on the bridge and with no enemy contacts at all ahead the men press on quickly. Lance Corporal Graham leading the way on the left side of the road with Lt McDougal close behind 2 Section. 1 Section will move up the right side of the road to the near barn while 3 Section will move to the edge of the woods to provide covering fire if needed. Figure 41 Orders Cpt Ferguson’s tank will fire on both stories of the farm house on our side of the bridge. Figure 42 Orders Lt. Jeremey’s tank will fire on the left hand barn before moving into the woods and firing on the right hand barn. Figure 43 Orders Sgt Jameson will move forward with the infantry and fire at areas around the bridge. If it is still standing hopefully he can disrupt the demo teams. If the bridge is gone perhaps he can exact a little revenge. Figure 44 Orders

Well I have no problem getting players I have too many games on the go frankly and I could add more so multi player is very healthy for sure. At least for PBEM, which is my experience.

I had a quick read of that thread but I do not see a mention of fixed version. Did I miss something? -
The Blitz Scenario of the Month program
A Canadian Cat replied to A Canadian Cat's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
No, there is nothing hidden from non registered users. There isn't a tradition of doing AARs at theBlitz. Sorry -
Minute 04-03: At first Lance Corporal Graham gets fire from his section Bren team. Soon that is joined by two more machine guns and finally the loud boom of the Sherman 75. Several rounds later and there is no more contact at the bend in the road. At the end of the turn Lt Jeremy’s tank starts taking fire from the right. The infantry in the woods identify it as coming from the house on the other side of the bridge. Figure 35 Some resistance Minute 03: Orders With the barrage over and things happening at the bridge we need to move as fast as possible, but no faster. Captain Ferguson will swing right and along with the infantry already there target that house on the other side of the river. The left hand section will move to the bend in the road followed by Sgt Jameson’s tank with Lt Jeremy right behind him. The reserve section will also move up to the bend in the road. Depending on which way Lt. Douglas decides to assault one section will stay in reserve. Figure 36 Orders

That one is yours. There is no requirement to write an AAR but everyone is supposed to comment and rate the scenario. I'll dig up the scenario page for you once I am back at a real computer. -

Yeah I don't have much experience with IGs bit nothing beats HE for dislodging the enemy. Clearly they need some friends nearby in case they come under fire. -

Apparently I am not a very good troll because my bridge got blown But seriously the point that @Toblakai was making was he does not want any more modules because he would like game play improvements and changes so you might consider that on topic. Maybe. Its cool. Also, I am not a pope but I do read the pope hat blog from time to time. Is that close enough

Allied AAR: The Road to Eindhoven (CMPzC)
A Canadian Cat replied to kohlenklau's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Wow nice parachute I like it. This will be fun to watch. -
Yeah, this is out side of your control - mostly. It is a game design decision and an ability to specify some level of formation has been asked for and I personally hope some day but who knows. But there are a few things you can do to influence what happens. Starting with splitting your squad into teams as @Banex suggested. That will allow you to put each team into an action square that is along the top. Next use the Face command (on the Combat Menu, standard short cut is G) and point it to where the enemy is. Now for a ridge line this works best if the action square is only just at the top of the ridge but the bulk of it is below. That way with the face command they will move to a place where they are looking that way and that will put them pretty much on the ridge top. That is all the control you get but with some experience you can get pretty good at using it. One thing you can do is practice in real time where your guys will move about and take up positions as you watch. That way you can see the results of the various choices you made pretty quickly.

Cool, as for the characters. That is up to the man behind the curtain. He specifically named the tank commanders Sgt. Lameson, Lt Jeremy and Cpt Ferguson. I just picked up the name generated by the game for Lt McDougal and Lance Corporal Graham (I made up their first names). So everyone could have their names set by @kohlenklau in future battles except for Lance Corporal Graham because you cannot name team leaders only top level leaders. I don't know if you can name section leaders or not. So, if you can he could get promoted I suppose. Although it is hard to see where a promotion would come from after my failure to take the bridge. @kohlenklau, what do you think? I assume you where planning to preserve the tank commanders can you add Lt McDougal to the mix too?

Role of the Baltic States

That ranks up there with the most bizarre and out from left field things I have ever read. The problem here is the argument seems to be "I'm good because look the other guy hit me back first and btw he has done all the things you are accusing me of doing too". That is not an argument that supports "I'm good" that argument only supports "I'm just as bad as you". Pretty different.
