Chudacabra good luck and enjoy the battle. "... The map is great and feels like a real landscape...." I agree. You picked a superior scenario to chronicle. -

In Search of a Ghost - Campaign

See you are enjoying and appreciating our 'New Modern' Fade2Gray IanL and womble veteran counsel provide sound guidance. Unit level recon from the guys trying to KO your forces… point of view… works for me. Time consuming but well worth the time when going for a win. Ground level recon helps one appreciate the details of where the strong and not so strong points are. Sometimes the Devil is in the details. In 'New Modern' things happen fast so details are more important faster. Have Fun, Buzz

Yep… if there were some leftovers…they probably more hazardous to the user than anyone else. Should not be but am sometimes dumfounded by the media hype that jumps on anything as ‘proof’ that the world is about to end … again Good description of how Iraq is reported to be managing Chlorine IEDs. Believe ist was a BBC report claimed one Iraqi combatant was killed by a Chlorine IED from ISIS early on. Since then precautions for Iraq’s press on ISIS accounted for these chlorine laced ‘terror’ surprises. Syrian civilians getting whacked by chlorine barrel bombs don’t have as many tactical options.

Never underestimate Media attempts to suck in eyeballs for ‘detailed reporting of facts.’ In some US media the sky is falling screams for more eyeballs was ISIS was using ‘chemical weapons’ now… run away…. toss in a few not so glancing ‘analyst’ suggesting these were maybe the lost WMDs. More reality based reporting described adding chlorine to IEDs more a fear factor than Armageddon 2’s coming. Nasty to be sure but nothing more that Syria has been doing with Barrel Bombs upon their people...

is there going to be a demo for CMBS released?
Buzz replied to steele6's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
Great news that the 'New Modern' Combat Mission Black Sea is available as a Demo! Looking forward to some feedback from folks who favor WWII over Modern. Both are fun periods to game but I think plenty of folks will be surprised at how cool Black Sea is. Battlefront has done a exceptional effort on this New Modern and the game looks and plays that way Happy Battles -
Pleased to see you had to update your UI one final time Clicking the full image displays the detail very well and your update looks great. Your out of hand rather quickly... complete overhaul will be enjoyed by many upon release. UI mods are literally 'in your face' all the time ... while you play the game. Looking at your UI mods makes for a very pleasant experience. Thanks, Buzz

"... deployment of the Russian Ministry of the Interior’s Dzerzhinskiy Division in the role of ‘barrier squads’ – punitive action, anti-retreat troops – behind the lines of rebels and Russian regulars...." Does not say a lot for the 'morale' of the forces.. well it could .. but not good for Russia's Ambiguous Warfare.
