I just tested both "Bils_Gridded_Terain.brz" and "Alternate Terain_for_Grid.brz" in Boot Camp on my Mac and they look great! Clear grids up close but not a thick checkerboard effect from an overview. Looks best in close up views IMO. Is there a standard grid distance in meters / yards? Thanks again, Buzz

Thanks Bil That helped & worked. Put both parts in the same folder, then expand part 1; part 2 yields "Bils_Gridded_Terain.brz" and "Alternate Terain_for_Grid.brz" It was my operator error / ignorance. Buzz

Thanks for the "Syrope" terrain mod tip. I will try it. I should rephrase the question to ask is "Version 110 Optional Terrain" in any CMSF patch? Kwazydog said it was primarily a brightness/contrast change to the terrain over his when he made the origional terrain. Just wondering if I need it in my Z folder in V1.32? ______ Buzz

I have delayed upgrading to Lion and purchase of CMBN Mac till all the DRM issues in Lion are fixed. CMSF port for Mac would be appreciated.

I am in no rush. The ideal setup for my time management is to not have to reboot into 'bootcamp'. More time to relax & play around with CM. With CM:SF for Mac still a little way off I can wait for the entire Mac versions of CM:BN + the SF bundle. Thanks Mark. Buzz

Currently we have no Mac versions. CM:BN will be the first. We are still trying to figure out the best way we can offer Mac versions of CM:SF and CM:A to people who already have the Windows version. We will hopefully have an answer about this towards the end of January. Steve ------- I purchased PC versions of CM:SF and Marines.
