  1. Hi All, I have CMSF with CMSF Marines on 2 computers (1.11). I wish to unlicense 1 copy. When I ask to unlicense it shows me a screen for CMSF Marines. When I unlicence CMSF Marines am I unlicensing both. I see no option to unlicense CMSF after CMSF Marines is unlicensed. When I click on unlicense CMSF it shows me the Marines unlicense screen again. Thanks for any help. John

  4. Hi Wiggum, I just bought a new computer with an ATI 3650 card. I was having lots of general graphic problems with my system. I downloaded the new Catylyst Drivers and software and it seems fine now. I did not try to run CMSF until I had sorted those out. CMSF does run very well. Try the new drivers. They may work for you.   6. Hi All, Just to say the help desk service for this game is great. I bought a new computer and wanted to do a second install of CMSF. I had some problems and posted to the help desk this Friday afternoon thinking "Oh well it is Friday afternoon so I will probably have to wait until Monday to have this looked after." I was happily surprised. Here is the time line. 2:50 p.m. I sent the original help desk request. 2:54 p.m. I recieve an answer from Matt Faller who gives me some info and suggestions. 3:10 p.m. I answer Matt and do some checking. 3:33 p.m. I have finished checking some items upon Matt's suggestions and post my findings at the help desk. 3:42 p.m. Matt resolves the problem. My install is now successfully complete and I will be able to enjoy CMSF over the weekend on my new computer. Thanks Matt for the excellent service. Regards John
  7. Hi All, Is there a way to use only one key to turn off the floating icons. Right now I am using ALT-I. As I understand it there is no way to edit this particular hotkey. It is very annoying when you are in the middle of action you have to use both hands to disable the floating icons. Anyone have any ideas. Regards John

  9. Hi bodkin, I just finished playing this scenario and very much enjoyed it. The map was very well planned and presented quite a few interesting tactical problems. I managed a total victory through Syrian surrender with about 4 minutes left. At that point I had already gained all the victory locations. When the Bradley reinforcements arrived I decided not to use them to see if I could finish the scenario successfully without them. It worked. I did not use them. So you may want to have a harder version without Bradley reinforcements and an easier one with. Thanks again for an enjoyable scenario!! Regards John

  13. Hi All, In regards to Wego and RT: It is a great option and much appreciated that either can be used. I play mostly Wego and use RT ( with pausing ) sometimes for smaller scenarios. I wonder if Wego time segments could be shortened to 30 seconds. I do like the rewind and replay features that were available in CMx1. The ability to fast forward was also very useful. One of the interesting things with the CMx1 rewind/replay/fast forward options was the ability to easily and quickly analyse what was happening at a certain time in the turn sequence. I miss that. regards John

  15. Hi All, Just to say, that although I have not taken the time to leave comments at CMMODS, I appreciate all the mods and scenarios that are made. I have mods and scenarios installed from nearly everyone who has made them and "hats off to them all". Last, and most certainly not least , thanks to the CMMODS site for hosting all efforts from all modders since CMBO. What a great service Todd Johnston has provided for all of us CM'ers. regards John
  16. Hi, Missinginreality Thanks for this mod it looks really good. I was wondering if you will update your ring bases mod now that there is one more colour with 1.10. By the way your non-historical camo mod is very nice. It may not be historical but it has the"'right feel". I am using it for the marines with Normal Dudes green helmet and green vest. The ability to mix and match different uniforms is quite entertaining. regards John
  17. Hi All, In CMSF Marines I have played one quick battle. I noticed that the targeting arcs do not seem to work for the lavs. The turrets keep facing forward. Also a small graphics glitch. Upon loading a team one of the back doors did not shut. It drove along and no one fell out but the door was open. In CMSF with 1.10 patch the vehicle pathing seems odd. When you give a direct path, say a fast move order, it redraws the waypoints in a very illogical manner. Sending the vehicles all over the place when a direct route is obviously available. They make it to where they are going but not in the way one would like. Regards John
  18. Hi All, I usually arm one or 2 sqauds with javelins before I dismount them. At that time I break them off as an AT team. I keep them towards the rear in a safe area until they are needed. Hopefully they move up safely........ Regards John

  21. Hi all, Great scenario. I quite enjoyed it even though I suffered a minor defeat. Again the Apaches were quite useless. I had moved my observor and 1 scout team to an area where they could direct fire but the Apaches were not delivering very well. I did manage to destroy all the Syrian armour and troops. I also gained the objective but at quite a cost. 2 vehicles destroyed, a Leader, an observor and one scout squad. The best moment was sneaking a scout squad up to a Syrian tank and having the Syrian crew abandon it as the scout team close assaulted. Lots of fun. Thanks for your scenario work. Regards John
