  1. Hi RommL, Nice work. Very well done. I will be looking forward to downloading it once you have finished testing. Regards John
  2. Hi All, As an observation: 1.05, while an improvement, still leaves obvious LOS and combat resolution problems unresolved. Regards John
  3. Hi Ck3, Actually multiple clicks did not work. That is when I tried adding another waypoint and deleting it. Regards John
  4. Hi All, As a report: Sometimes I cannot escape the movement routine for waypoints without adding an extra waypoint and then using backspace. You are supposed to escape by right clicking but that does not always work. Regards John
  5. Hi All, As a report: Bradley brought to hull down position. BMP fires upon Bradley. The brad sits there and does nothing. No return fire, no smoke popped. Nothing. I target manually upon the BMP. 5 shots later it is dead. Regards John
  6. Hi All, As a report: In the scenario I am playing a dismounted Humvee, when selected, reveals all enemy locations. regards John
  7. Hi All, A mod forum would be great. Regards John
  8. Hi All, Thanks for taking the time to answer Erwin. But as BFC says in their Stryker blog. " Smoke grenade launchers attached to the RWS can be fired to interfere with various enemy threats. The thermal imager allows the Stryker crew to see through the smoke it generates." So, in view of the above, it really would be nice to have Battlefront confirm the effects of smoke to the Stryker. Regards John
  9. Hi All, I am not interested in being caught up in any controversies concerning this game. My question is simple. Can a Stryker in this game see through its own smoke or not. I only want to know so I can play the game accordingly. regards John
  10. Hi All, Thanks for the link wood. I wonder why BFC would not comment or clarify? regards John
  11. Hi All, As a report I have just experienced a Bradley and an Infantry platoon becoming stuck together. If you place the infantry the brad follows and vice versa. This is in setup. Once you start the game they become unstuck. Regards John
  12. Hi All the following is directly from BFC's blog on Strykers: " Smoke grenade launchers attached to the RWS can be fired to interfere with various enemy threats. The thermal imager allows the Stryker crew to see through the smoke it generates." From the horses mouth. Regards John
  13. Hi All, As a report it seems that the strykers cannot see through smoke. I had 3 Stryker MGS attack a single T-72. I moved them up a rise and before going to hull down position fired smoke. They moved into position perfectly. But they did not see the t-72's or did not fire on them. The t-72 did not move. I thought i would just let the smoke clear and see what happened. The strykers did fire half heartedly but were all killed. I must conclude, since the Strykers fired after the smoke cleared, that they could not see through the smoke. Regards John
  14. Hi All, Is this based on the U.S. models or the Syrian? Whatever the case it looks great. Regards John
  15. Hi All, Thank you for your comments. When you look at the picture entitled "rough guide" you will see the "impression" I was after. I am not all that concerned about being spot on in terms of authenticity. I do mods mostly for my own satifaction. I hope to do a BMP next. When CMMODS is ready I will place the Bradley mod there. 16. Hi All, I have changed to links so you should all be able to see the pictures. Regards John [ December 19, 2007, 06:44 PM: Message edited by: z1812 ]
  17. Hi JonS, No. I don't see anything to identify it as a Medevac vehicle. Regards John

Landscape For those interested I will post it at CMMODS when the mod section is active. Regards John [ December 19, 2007, 06:41 PM: Message edited by: z1812 ]

  20. Hi All, Multi-Player appears to be fixed. I played 2 online games today without any problems. Thats not mentioning how much more balanced the play seems to be since weapon effectiveness has been adjusted. We only tried small scenarios ( ATGM Ambush and Al Hufq ) but it worked well and was fun. Regards John
  21. Hi All, Nice work..........yippee!! Regards John
  22. Hi All, To Cpl Steiner and Pete: Your maps are really very good. I am looking at them and thinking how much they are like little works of art. "3d landscape painting" is a term that comes to mind. Of course not to mention the possibilities for ambushes and where armour might best approach. Which map areas afford the best LOS ect. ect. Cpl Steiner you were wondering how green to make your map. Why not have more than one version. One perhaps sparse ( better for armour), one medium (mech type battles) and one dense (infantry type battles). Good Work! Regards John [ December 12, 2007, 06:25 AM: Message edited by: z1812 ]
  23. Hi All, You may try the proving grounds at: http://www.the-proving-grounds.com I go there reasonably often to play CMAK and occasionally someone will show up to play ToW. Mind you if you all go there you will find one another. Regards John
  24. Hi All, As suggested for online play go the The Proving Grounds Chat room. I usually play there a couple of times over the weekend. I may not find a player first time but I check back and almost always find someone to play. Regards John
  25. Hi All, The original post is spot on the money. Well done Mr. Dorosh. regards John
