  1. You could safely add quite a few Russians & other Soviets to that list, many of them women & children. смерть фашистам!
  2. The T-90M 'Proryv' entering service now: Is a somewhat different creature to the games putative 'T-90AM' which is probably closer to the T-90MS: That said, the differences ain't exactly huge!
  3. I use 'Save Intervals', usually various multiples of 5 minutes, depending on scenario duration & intensity.....I don't reload, but I often 'stop to think for a while' (days, weeks or even months). FWIW
  4. So.....We'll call that an Afghanistan Module for CM:CW confirmed then. Certainly no more so than the T-90AM & BM Oplot.
  5. In general I'd agree with your comments, but the SS (and those who idolise them) get a lot less slack from me than others.
  6. Nope. They bought T-80UDs instead.....Then topped off with Al Khalids (in much the same way that Thailand switched to buying Chinese tanks after the Oplot fiasco).
  7. I'd imagine the quality of the infantry would be a factor and presumably if they share the same parent formation with the vehicles information should flow a bit faster?
  8. Hold on.....That's not right! There shouldn't even be a folder for CM:A in Documents.....Scenarios, campaigns etc. all go into the folders located at [your game install directory]/Combat Mission Afghanistan/Game Files. Unlkess something dramatically changed.
  9. Have you patched it? There's s patch on the Battlefront site: https://www.battlefront.com/patches Scroll down a bit.
  10. I'd imagine an intervening tree would actually prevent a sabot from penetrating a tank.....I don't really have the facilities to test this, but I strongly suspect it to be the case.
  11. You guys have created something that is singularly unique and you should be very proud.
  12. He's not really saying anything new, he's just saying it an a slightly more amusing way. That said, his information does generally seem to be spot on.....Although he gets a pit confused about Pierre Sprey IIRC.
  13. LOL.....I shall now for every think of Leibstandarte as the 'Lovely-Boys'!
  14. Please, please look at the Red C2 and give the Uncons some more Specialist Teams (esp. Breach Teams) & Individual Vehicles.....Giving the US access to Predator Drones would really be cool too (the timing is so close and it's a fictional war after all). There's still a huge amount of life in CM:SF2.
  15. Hi! We're your new child minders.....Don't worry about snacks, we ate before we came over.
  16. Bonez.....Or we eetzim! Alas all my searches for 'Hyena Eats Hitler Youth Volunteer' were fruitless.
  17. Sorry, I completely forgot! Quick scan of Spielberger has the frontal armour as 80mm for the Ausf H (the earlier 50mm armour plate and 30mm Zusatzpanzer add on kit were replaced with a single 80mm plate), can't immediately see any numbers for the turret. PS - I've scanned through a couple now and a definitive figure for the turret front still eludes me.....It was increased to 50mm with the Ausf F, but I can't immediately find any figures beyond that. PPS - Interesting comment in the Osprey book: "In one way the longer 75mm guns were a very mixed blessing. In spite of the designers' efforts to conserve weight, the new weapons made the vehicle nose-heavy to such an extent that the forward suspension springs were under constant compression, with the result that the tank tended to sway about even when no steering was applied. The effect of this was compounded when the Ausfuhrung H was introduced in March 1943, as this model not only had 80mm armour on the bow, front plate & mantlet, but also had 5mm side-skirts and a turret girdle as defence against hollow charge ammunition."
  18. Not a scenario, just another experiment.....Will have a look to see if I still have it, but frankly I doubt it.
