  5. Fairly confident the community will be on the case either way.....I'm genuinely excited to see what we will get to work with (hoping some of the community's suggestions in relation to terrain, uncons and scripting might be taken on board).

It's probably easier for me to send you the file (still very much a WIP) than to describe it.....If you are familiar with the CM:SF QB Map 'LJFHuge Rural', that was my starting point. The aim is to create a low-intensity skirmish battle between Al-Shebab and local village militias supported by a gradually increasing number of more professional units. I've been running some tests on it (in the vain hope I might be able to script plausible AI plans for one side or another) so it needs some tidying up right now.

  13. I was thinking more of their effects in game, I believe some of the Ukrainian units still rely on the Mk.1 Eyeball, but everything else seems to have NVG across the board. Fascinated to see where you go with this, as I've said elsewhere, the CM engine seems well suited to the Vietnam conflict and it's one that I'd very much like to see covered.

If you have to 'Bail-Out' the crew in the editor, the crew-swap probably won't work (when you start the game the crew will reappear in the vehicle, forcing their replacements to dismount).....However if you can get the crew out with 'Dismount' in the editor the crew-swap should be a goer, based on my experiments elsewhere. FWIW PS - Just had a play in the editor.....It turns out things are not quite as I expected: The bailed out crew did indeed jump back to the M20, but the FO Team was not forced to dismount, rather it was reduced to two men. I just added some artillery to check whether the reduced FO team is functional and it appears that it is.

  20. Physics. Grenades are small contained charges designed to throw fragments of their casings over a wide area, not to demolish structures.
  21. I've got a somewhat different two player H2H only CM:SF scenario that I've been messing around with, I'm a bit stuck with how best to score it given that 'Occupy' objectives don't work for Red.....Your thoughts & insights would be most welcome.
  22. Is there any possibility they could be whopping great Claymore type directional mines do you think.....Keep the head-choppers at a distance even when it goes totally Pete Tong?
