  1. This too makes sense, but for Uncon battles, if the weapon is better than anything they have to hand and they can use it, surely it would make sense.....It would also make players a bit more careful about casualties, something the game should emphasize IMHO.
  2. That's a bit different to the usual CM:BS fare and that's a fact.....Nicely done.
  3. Fair comment for regulars (although it would be fun), but it would definitiely work well for Uncons/Partisans IMHO.
  4. I'd like to see units able to buddy-aid the other side, take the wounded prisoner and steal their gear.....Uncon units wouldn't do the first bit though, any wounded that they get their hands on should go straight to the dead-pool, probably quite nastily. This latter would give players a real motivation to rescue their wounded in asym. warfare scenarios.
  5. Hopefully in the next release, along with Shermans, Stuarts, Valentines & especially Partisans.....He says, optimistically.
  6. Amen to that brother, Amen to that! Not to forget the joys of walking a linear mortar strike along occupied rooftops.....Then there's popping a tank round into a VBIED while it's still deep in ISIS territory, I always find that one raises a chortle too!
  7. +1 for the Partisan-goodness.....Much needed in all of the CM titles! 'Vive le resistance!'
  8. Well you learn a new thing every day.....Apparently they received 32 of them from the Germans. No idea what happened to them after that though.
  9. Tricky to do with off-map artillery because you can't determine what targets the FOs will assign them (AFAIK???). You could however set up a mortar pit on-map with an exit zone nearby.....Spawn new mortars with fresh 'Target' orders and a suitable ammo load as needed and dump the old ones into hyperspace with a short move order onto the exit zone.....If you 'snow-ball' the scripts for the AI Group they are assigned to they can all go on one AI slot. So long as the mortar pit is hidden at the back of the map, the player need never know about your trickery. This could mess with your parameters very slightly, so it would be a good idea to take account of this in advance when assigning VPs.
  10. Dude if someone had murdered my dad I'd be doing exactly the same, that's my whole point.....It's f*****g horrific, but who can blame them, even if we do all know it just sets up the next round of blood-letting a generation down the line.
  11. Plus blowing head-choppers to bits is much more fun.....IMHO!
  12. It's coming brother, it's all coming.....Rejoice!
  13. Me? Dude my only real question would be whether it would last as long as the current scenario suggests before someone chucked a 'Bucket of Instant Sunshine' and everything went completely tits up.....We will definitely need more realistic modelling of burning buildings and some revamped ruin models if we are going to extend this one!
  14. The URL on that image says Photobucket, I guess TFO has a full account with them.....Picturetrail still offer hosting IIRC (I've got a couple of accounts for modelling), but the images are small and the hosting limit is tiny. In other words I'd welcome some suggestions on this front too. PS - Just signed up with Imgur: http://imgur.com/ Yup.....That works, dead easy too! PS - Forgot to say, cracking work on the NVA uniform TFO, very impressive indeed.
  15. Couldn't have put it better. Hell if it's clearly fictional I might even write something myself one day.
  16. Nice hat! Did you get any of the expansion modules for the game.....Depending on what you bought there is a vast array of user made output at the repository: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=select&id=2
  17. I don't think so TBH.....Steve has said pretty much the same for CM:SF II, it will be set against the original BfC 'Syria Scenario', not the real one, so I'd guess the same goes for the 'Ukraine Scenario' and frankly I think that's a damned good idea. PS - Since we're being dicks about it again.....Rule Britannia!
  18. You are quite wrong.....I just don't want to see them getting killed, same goes for Russians, Americans, Iraqis, Syrians, right on through to Eskimos & Aborigines. 'Head-Choppers' on the other hand. I'd definitely like to see most of the weapon systems you mention, plus one or two others, but only in the hope that they would subsequently find their way to CM:SF II.....I infinitely prefer the war against ISIS as a background for modern scenarios, it's as simple as that. I'd really like to have a couple of Ukrainian weapons systems for use in my Mosul scenarios as I've said elsewhere (or maybe here, earlier). PS +1 for the indirect firing AGS too.....Seems a pretty common use for them too.
  19. Me too.....I deleted 569 and left them with just one for old time's sake, but it's a bit rude and I can't embed it anyway.
  20. I'd second that motion, but I'd kind of hope the 'someone' might be the man himself.
  21. I'm only teasing! If they expand it, I'll buy it.....Probably won't play it much, but I'll no doubt mess around in the editor, just as I am with the current iteration. Eventually I'll find a scenario I can build with it, but it won't be set in the Ukraine, of that you can be quite sure.
