  1. Do anyone have a clue where to find 1944 1:25000 maps? I found a few maps over Holland (missing the most intersting part for me, Roosendaal) but I have found none of Belgium and NW France.

  3. If I dont remember wrong, its affected by the weight the soldier can carry and they prioritize heavy weapons. so probleby he picked up the RPG, could pick up another round but only thing left he could pick up weightwise was the empyt AKM. And then there is surely some randomisation in it all to reflect that weapon and ammo can get destroyed/turn useless when the carrier get killed.
  4. And not a single one in Scandinavia
  5. we who bought CMSF 1.0 up to atleast 1.07 have all been paying to play a beta. And its something that Im not gonna do again!
  6. never had much issue with it being PITA tbh. its not often I need to do it so the few times I do it doesnt bug me. but sure, the amount of area firing might increase plenty in CMBN.
  7. well you can do something similar already. do plenty of waypoints and every waypoint have different area target commands. put delay on waypoints of you want one spot more fired upon the another. Thats how I do in CMSF and works like a charm!
  8. clicking on the links doesnt work, copy and paste in a new window works
  9. Because its Swedish! what I dont get is why they only use HE rounds? we use HE, SMOKE, Anti-Tank and Illuminating rounds to our 84mm.
  10. Screw that, I just wish I get to play CM:N before the End comes
  11. Wow, I think my record is like 1½hour in CMSF and I thought that was extreme...
  12. the CV9035 hands down. its the newest of them with the superior tech and that 35mm gun is develish. But I dont know where it stands in armour thickness compared to the Marder thoe. but if I had to go into combat in any of those vehicles it would be the CV9035. (ok im a bit biased, served in a swedish CV9040 Coy back in the days )
  13. Na. you want to go camping? Im having hard time to see how that could look good actually. asuming use the smallest building it might work. what was your idea of tent?
  14. FMB, I love you! I love Marines and your scenarios. looking forward to the campaign! a 10 scenario campaign... wow!
  15. Oh! what campaign is that FMB? I love campaigns and you are one of my favorite scenario makers!
  16. Jaws, Im fully aware of close recce, my favorites in CMSF is just recce assets It just feels weird that the main "weapon" of the Fennek wont work as intended. its like having a abrams with a decoy gun... We all know the problems with the recce humwee. it get smoked before it sees anything. thats what will be happening with the fennek as well. I want to be able to use the main weapon of the fennek, and that is to park the little bugger behind a crest and have just the small telescope peeking over the crest observing while the Fennek is hidden. If I dont remember wrong steve once wrote that observation lines can be drawn from different positions of a vehicle. a fix could be to have the arm extended at all times and draw the observation line from it, just an idea
  17. I love your work longleftflank! but from the pics I will CRY as I try to battle my way thrue Ramadi, it doesnt look like a simple fight...
  18. The dutch/german Fennek is a reccoinnase vehicle, pretty much screwed if spotted. So a important tool for the fennek is its mast with observation equiptment. The reconnaissance vehicle's observation system is the Rheinmetall Defence Electronics (formerly STN Atlas Elektronik) BAA which comprises a thermal imager, a CCD day vision camera and a laser rangefinder and is installed in a sensor head mounted on an extendable mast. The sensor head can be controlled in azimuth and elevation and raised to a height of 3.29m above ground i.e. 1.5m above the vehicle roof. For observation from a concealed position, the sensor head can be tripod-mounted at an exposed location for remote operation up to 40m from the vehicle. But will this be operational? I know the warrior FO vehicles has a radarmast that doesnt work, but Fenneks best equiptment is the mast. so please, will it work in CMSF? /Thomas
  19. I had the same once. I deleted all the save game files and it disapered.
  20. thats the downside with an ambush. you are never prepared for it while the enemy IS. that makes it a bit hard to not sustain casualtys in the first moment they open up. However, when doing patrols you can dismount and do foot patrols at suspected locations, or start doing overwatch with the vehicles at suspected locations so that the vehicle moving in is covered by others.
  21. Combat Mission Shock Force: Special Forces. I would buy it
