Soon (though not very, very soon), Herr Treibstoffumverteiler. My deliveries are just as punctual as Herr Göring's. 😉

Thanks a lot for the reply. I had hoped that I would be able to use some of FB german buidings in a Denmark map I am working on. But I'll just have to port those textures from FB to a mod set for RT if they arent there. 🙂

Still, I am looking very much forward to seeing all the new buildings and map features in FR.

So, what is it with you guys who complain that there aren’t enough bones or information given out, but when Steve and Elvis are all over it with posting after posting, with eye candy and explanations what’s going on(!) and yet you complain about the release being “late”?
Sorry, I just don’t get it (and it is exactly the main reason BFC has given for not giving us deadlines). Complaining about one or the other I understand, but both??

Forgot to add: Rant Over, and I love all yuose guys anyways!

Similar models, with new textures and a few new things to work with. Churches and Commercial have some new adds- Central European churches, a domed building, a factory. These are based upon the footprints of existing ones.
Yes, adapted to Central European cities. The roofs have been changed on some to better simulate urban rows.
Berlin has it's own set of textures, which would do for most cities. A destroyed texture as well, with the windows punched out- remember talking about that one years ago?
The flavor objects round it out, as well. Some destroyed stuff, and some things to make towns and cities look a bit more previously inhabited.

No, Bitvagorod is just a fictional town - with some facories and a grain elevator that I tried to get to resemble the one in Stalingrad.

Regarding the Grain Elevator, this is a close as I was able to mod it (in my Bitvagorod map):

    Steve,
We have heard the story from MikeyD about the Valentine going in or not going into F&R. You're the boss. You take a high standard on TOE and historical accuracy. He proved it and you then agreed, it went in.
But for the vehicles that Casio has already modelled but are in other titles, the dogs and cats, like the R-35 or the Samoa, early Panzer III, (I can send you a list if you want me to bird dog it all) CAN THEY BE JUST SHOVED INTO THE EDITOR AS SINGLE VEHICLE PURCHASABLE? Please maybe also a water cooled HMG for the axis? And some infantry team WITHOUT panzerfausts? These would be clearly said as "Steve didn't approve but took pity on kohlenklau" and we threw it in for modding purposes as building blocks for SOME early war scenario ability...
..and I think this might have helped get me the Schwimmwagen...

I would appreciate and pay for the game-coded building blocks to mod my own attempt at a Barbarossa, Fall Blau, Fall Gelb, etc. I don't need to wait for the bottlenecks of TOE research and stock scenarios/campaigns. Charge me like you DID do them. No problem. I already work for free. Lots of us do.
I think the R-35 is in CMFI and maybe CMBN but not in CMRT. Same thing with quite a few other vehicles and weapons that the 3D modelling investment and time has already been expended. Scrape all the early war stuff together, have a way to scenario edit OUT the panzerfausts, etc. and make some money. Release like the CMBN vehicle pack and CMBN battle pack.
    CMRT: Wargamer Kit Barbarossa $30-45
CMRT: Wargamer Kit Fall Blau $30-45
CMFI: Wargamer Kit North Africa $30-45
CMBN: Wargamer Kit Fall Gelb $30-45

Could/would you/BFC ever do a "limited scope" vehicle and weapon module of 1940/1941 mdr's with no TOE updates to allow some fan based modding for the early war periods?

    Hi
I just did a bit more thorough checking, because I discovered that I had a couple of u304 mods that I´d for some reason never released.

And when I removed all my u304 mods from the folder, the interior was indeed grey in some of the vehicles. So I guess I just fixed it myself when I made the mods way back (?).
Anyway, the good news is that you can get the fix too - if you use my mods. Here they are:

umlaut got a reaction from Aragorn2002 in anyone ever think of Burnt out vehicles skins?
Yep. I did a bit of experimenting with that, but never finished or released it. Mainly because using these mods leads to a string of new problems:
If they are flavor objects then they do not provide cover - and cant burn.
If they are used as destroyed and/or burning units, they do provide cover, but then the "live" units of the same type will look damaged too.

Perhaps I´ll give them another try some day.

Alas, I havent seen any of those show yet (but they are on my list). That submarine murder was indeed crazy - and absolutely horrible. The murderer actually managed to escape from prison last year by using a fake pistol he made in the prison workshop. Luckily, he only got a few hundred meters before he was has caught.

I am myself an expert on all things american, as I have watched The Simpsons 😉

    BLENDER TEST IDIOT'S LOG:
    4/5/21:
    A. The cockpit of a 747 has many dials, buttons, gauges and meters. I was just trying to talk to the passengers! Workspace arrangement that was easy to accidentally change and then hard to retrieve but now I know what they are all called. I have the "outliner editor" in the upper right. Directly below it I have the "Properties editor". To the left I have the 3D view with the actual model in 1 of several modes. Then sometimes to the left of that you have the "UV image editor". I am reading this Blender stuff and all along I am reading UV and thinking UV, like the sun, something about lighting maybe? No, it is just new coordinates system in 2D for the bmp images we have always slaved over. It is UV (u,v) since x,y, and z are all taken. It is pretty cool.
    B. It took a while to run through the steps and make a few mistakes but I now have a 3rd grade level understanding of what to do. My brain hurts!

I agree. I think the game engine isnt really designed for urban combat. And in urban scenarios I always end up swearing at my pc because of strange LOS, LOF and movement behaviours.
Hopefully, it will be improved once we get CM3. Eventually...
