  1. I may be wrong, Kevin. Sometimes I simply lose overview. I'll check my mods and compare it to the latest version.
  2. Great idea, Kevinkin. I will gratefully except everything you can give us. Btw, are those nice balaclava's of that infantry included in the present winter mod or are they new?
  3. Interesting. I still hope somebody will come up with a new version of those nice Alsace-Lorraine buildings we had for CMAK.
  4. This is indeed an outstanding book. Urbanke's book on III/JG 54 and JG 26 (both equipped with Fw 190D's) is also excellent.
  5. Same here, Benpark. One day Amazon.com will send me a medal.
  6. I've recently bought Stephan Hamilton's new book on the Panzergrenadier Division Brandenburg, called 'Panzergrenadiers to the front!'. One of the best books I've read on the Eastern front during 1945.
  7. Essential for scenario designers indeed. Very helpful. Thanks for the link, George and of course a even bigger thank you to Benpark for making them.
  8. Engine 4 runs okay, but it ain't playable with engine 3, I think.
  9. Thank you Dragonwynn, those maps look superb. And thanks to Kohlenklau for his great intitiative!
  10. I'm playing a scenario in which my Kampfgruppe also has two Grille-Self propelled guns. My forward observer can now direct their fire as if they were off board. First time I noticed that and I think it is great. So now they can not only be used for direct fire, but also for bombardments all over the map.
  11. Well, I finally bought the only CM game I do not own, namely CM Black Sea. Downloading now. Although I don't care much about modern warfare, I suspect it will be a matter of time and more modules (hopefully NATO) until I will start to like it as much as the other titles. It has been nagging me for quite some time that I didn't purchase CMBS in order to support BF. And now I have. Perhaps a thought for other people too? Buy a CM you don't have yet and that way show your apprection and support and at the same time increase the chance BF will be launching great games for the years to come. Just a thought.
  12. Thank you. Looks very interesting. Perhaps this can be used in creating some kind of field position for AT and infantry too.
  13. Great tutorial indeed. Thank you. I'm glad to see elevation isn't quite as unpredictable as I initially feared.
  14. Thanks guys, that helps, I'm getting the hang of it now.
  15. I'm getting the hang of the map editor bit by bit, but the elevation editor is still a mystery to me. I want to make a tank ditch and a ditch for drainage, but everytime I change the elevation the entire surroundings changes to that elevation. I've read the manual, which says: To use Ditch Lock, switch to either the Adjust or Direct elevation tools and then left- click on a tile while holding CTRL. The elevation number on the tile will display a blue background instead of the usual black to indicate that its elevations will be steeper. Unfortunately the surrounding elevations also adjusts to a lower level when I do this. Can anybody explain to me how to make a ditch please?
  16. But it is now. After tonight there should be some bones left... I really would like to hear what we can expect in the coming year.
  17. It must be incredibly hard to implement and I'm sure they've tried very hard too. The other features make more than up for it. Good to know they've at least tried to make our gaming life a bit easier.
  18. The service provided to the community is breathtaking and deserves our attention and gratitude. Battlefront, you guys are the best. Always giving us what we want, always ready to make things work, even when it's Christmas. Remember this, people. This is why we owe this company our loyalty and support.
  19. Will a tank be able to cross a stream? Investigation will start tomorrow. If I stay behind my pc any longer, my wife will start her own world war.
