  1. Turned out really well. Looking forward to lowering the property values greatly.
  2. Kieme hasn't been on the forum since March 3, 2016. Mord tends to be gone for a while periodically, so I'm betting he'll be back sooner or later. Kieme, not so much.
  3. Forget WW1, the vaaaaast majority of fighting in WW2 was infantry v infantry.
  4. Both of them are revolutionary in concept and execution. There's so much fun and immersion in each one.
  5. Not to mention the eleventy billion lend lease trucks, which were far more important than the tanks.
  6. +1 Bil and so many other awesome people make this game and community the best.
  7. Considering that the Javelin didn't come into service until 14 years after the Falklands and aren't real good at surface to air, that's quite a feat by the British. We undermeant what you stood though.

  9. It can be hard to ride the line between caution and pushing objectives, but patience will almost always pay off in the end.
  10. Indeed. CMBS requires serious patience and discipline not to pile up the body bags. I've had more than one pistol toting cowboy screw up things for me. Covered arcs are absolutely the way.
  11. Glad you've found the right path to enjoyment. Your Rule 1 - slow down, is the simplest game changer in CM. So many times, people want to move every unit that isn't firing and blaze away with every unit that isn't moving.
  12. Every time I read this thread, I recall how often JasonC cited US and British tankers outshooting German crews on a regular basis after D Day. Despite the popular opinion that German tankers were all supermen, by the second half of 44 and all of 45, the typical PzIV or StG crew weren't anything to write home about. I think the crux of how BFC approached it is that if you look at Regular/Veteran US crews versus Green/Regular German crews, the points will be pretty even, as will the results.
  13. 1-8-21 was a joke Elvis made. Look here for the latest.
  14. Tankers of all nationalities sometimes bailed out at the drop of a hat, thinking something horrible was going on, or was about to. I'd be willing to bet it happened more often than the heroic crew that battled through hits, fire, immobilization, etc., and kept fighting. Motivation is the key. Extreme and Fanatic crews stay put longer. Poor and Low crews are more likely to boogie.
  15. We need to continuously keep in mind that BFC hasn't just been making CM for us for quite some time now. The income from the military applications they've been contracted to provide will pay dividends for us over the long term, so I don't mind the trade off of time for improving the bottom line. Anyone who's impatient has the right to their opinion and I'd love RT five minutes ago, but the longer BFC is profitable, the higher quality my gaming will be, so I'll enjoy it when it come out and keep playing all the other CM until it does.
  16. Agreed. One of the many cool things about FI are all the Armored Cars. QB's are like a crap tank bonanza and remind me of the good ole' days in CMAK.
  17. Don't bet the house on Elvis' tongue in cheek date that corresponds to a certain musician's birthday, but hopefully in the ballpark.
  18. That is only for dragging pics on your PC to the forum. Use any of the many free image hosting services and you can publish any super duper hi-res picture you want.
