First publicly acknowledged military aid arrives in Ukraine since invasion

Poland has shipped a convoy with ammunition to Ukraine, according to the country's Minister of Defense Mariusz Błaszczak, making it the first publicly acknowledged shipment of military aid to Ukraine since the Russian invasion began.
“A convoy of ammunition we are donating to Ukraine has already reached our neighbors. We stand by the Ukrainians, and show solidarity against Russian aggression," he said in a tweet.
The tweet neither described the sort of ammunition Poland sent the Ukrainians nor the amount.

The arming of civilians looks pretty chaotic but does seem that they will be working alongside military units. I just hope they have AT support in trained hands to deal with the armoured vehicles.

I saw reports yesterday that they were arming civilians with AK's I am not sure if that will do more harm than good if true.

They don't have to retake it as be able to bring the right weapons to bear on the runway. 
The only way this is going to bring Putin down is with the deaths of Russian service personnel.
I am truly saddened that we are hoping Ukraine will inflict the maximum damage on the Russian forces, yet those that put them in harms way will have hot meals and vodka in their dachas tonight, may hell truly exist and be visited upon the Dick"tator who has brought this upon the innocent.
