Is it that there aren't any Poles in CMSF, or is that there are SO MANY you just didnt realize they have taken over and are now almost Japanese sounding?

No adopting the 416 is just a small upgrade on an already %^$'d up POS. And the 5.56 round goes through Haji just fine anyway. But what do people expect to hear from young men? Do you expect them to say, "No please C&C Bush, please give us BB guns, we want less power!!!" If they asked me I would certainly say i want more powerful weaponry, like a Plasma Rifle! And the minute young men dont say they want more powerful weapons, thats a day to be worried about.

Well the IDF has been willing on more than one occasion to deploy thier forces to defend Jordan. Syria didnt want any then but may be getting more brave. The IDF would have its hands full with Syria for a few days.

Ya no ARTILLERY from a Paladin will hurt the most. No car bombings except by French Resistance Pepe Le Bleu fighters. No ATGM to make the Americans stand a chance against those Tigers. No Bradleys to make you wonder why God didnt invent the TOW II by Verdun. No release date that says CMWWII released July 27th. Man I can hardly wait to play this game.

Von, I would certainly say you should get a new rig to play this. Its not one of those things where you are "upgrading" to get "better" internet. (Yes I have heard people say they were upgrading to get faster internet. ) The thing with CMSF is that it looks like its going to be a great game and the expense is worth it as you will be playing this 3-5 years from now and the modules will only increase the investment value for you. So a few thousand now for 4 years is less than you would give to your local coffee shop in that span. You may not get as wired on caffine, but you do get to blow up people and avoid lengthy jail terms. Oh ya I cant wait to hear the artillery. Bet it will make the hair stand up on my neck!!!!

I am giving 10 to 1 odds that CMx2 WW2 isnt released until after 1 August 2007. Any takers?

No choppers, but I believe I read somewhere air support is modeled along with off map artillery. I would never say never with BFC on choppers though. If there was a way I am sure they would do it, but I would think with water tiles taking a month or more to do and are not in the game, choppers would take quite a bit of time considering BFC's attention to real world physics. But with Strykers not being inheriantly dependant on helos for anything dont think it is a big deal. I suspect people are going to flip as the Syrians are wiping the floor with you when we finally get the game in any case and you may not notice silly choppers not being modeled.

You dont need a loaded weapon when in a safe area. Only thing is that 3 seconds you take to load up, you may miss your chance at getting back at that mean Drill Sgt who gave you hell in basic!!!! j/k ofcourse

Well the hearing loss I have doesnt make me disabled, but it does help me to tune out the gf when she is on a ranting spree. I suspect it will only get worse when we are married, well that is if I am lucky! But seriously, the issued ear plugs with said holder is one of the more looney things you are supposed to carry in combat situations. I dont know of anyone who wears them even at the range on a consistant basis. Guess you just get used to being a little deaf. If you think about it, when's the last time you heard any Sgt's whispering?

And CMx2 probably will not play like CM except that there are choices for wego and email play. And real time most likely is a misnomer as this isnt Starcraft. My guess is if you are running a column of say T-72's straight into a city they arent going to last too long as I am not sure if Abrams miss much. So try a tank rush and see if it will play the same hehe. And unattended infantry may be dead infantry.

I think theres enough sounds in the game that we can miss this one. Besides, if one of these "jihadist terrorist types" finds out where Steve lives, Madmatt is too far away to blind the shooter with his shiny head, and Moon is too skinny to be used as a shield.

I think CMx2 is going to have something for everyone, grogs and WWII snobs alike. Eventually you can find a module that is to your liking and you will be purchasing the game anyway. If you cannot find a module you want, you weren't going to buy the game anyway. Sadly the American people are going to think that US Forces are almost invincible as we have only lost a couple thousand troops in a 6 year war. Hopefully when they start playing they are going to see that this isnt the case. I am willing to bet the first few times you start playing you are going to think how the US could even win a war. I can see however how CMBO beat the sales figures for CMBB. CMBO was revolutionary and the first of its kind. CMBB was an improvement in lots of ways, but not in anyway that could make it like the feeling most of us got from the first beta demo session of CMBO. But I suspect almost all games that change the way you play a genre dont have that.

I only want it in if it has the Bruce Lee Wing Chung animations. But I know the only time I ever had a fixed bayonet on my rifle was basic. The Army is trying to shorten the length nowadays, not make them longer. I personally would doubt Charles will spend too much time doing this. Lots of other stuff you guys will want in before this useless thing.

Hi Bull, The errors are not common, you will not have to downgrade to Network 1.1 as you most likely already have it if you have higher versions. Try the demo to make sure but if the demo works I assume so will the full bundle. And the amount of people online or lack thereof shouldnt scare you away. Most people play against the bots anyway, so it really has no bearing on your play. This is a very good game, but its a niche game so we didnt have as many buyers as we should have. The campaigns are generally good and I will still make more, I am just a bit busy one another project for BFC right now. And one more thing, most people play for a while and leave but most DO come back and play again. As I said this game is very well made so the quality hasnt left and theres usually new people logged in when I come online. As for the two guys who play a lot, well they are addicts so that should tell you something. We should charge these two a monthly fee to play hehe. Serg, But Japan was fighting in China before Germany invaded Poland. Germany invaded Poland in September 1939, capitulated in May 1945. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941, capitulated in August 1945. Germany held out longer than Japan. Which anyway is totally irrelevant when the topic is US priorities, as USA wasn't fighting them alone. Anyway, so your opinion is - apparently - that Roosevelt and his staff saw Japan as the bigger long term threat than Germany. Hey, you're entitled to that view. But I think you're wrong. Or if your opinion is that war in the Pacific was cruel and bloody - was I claiming that it wasn't? But it took the efforts of all Allied armies to defeat Germany, while it is clear that USA could have defeated Japan by herself. </font>
