  1. Ok I will just start out by saying I am so addicted even though I suck. Ok but I think I would suck less if this game didnt have these disconnects that not only give extra fatigue, but also makes winning games turn into losing efforts where my pilot or wingmen died a horrible death. I really would love to buy this game, but until I am sure that I wont be wasting my time, I will refrain I think..... -Ray
  2. Hey if ya ever get tired of it, send it to me!!! J/K. Wish I had a wife that would let me get one of those!!! Maybe if I take out a big enough insurance policy on her, accidents do happen.......
  3. Just type in "Rayisagod" 999,999,999 times and 20 M1A2 Abrams will teleport back in time with the 7th Fleet and you will send those pesky Ruskies back accross the Volga in no time. Be carefull not to type in "Rayisagod" 1,000,000,000 times or you have to start over!!!
  4. There are trenches, as I read the site that tells the newer features. Not sure about systems though, as I am just a demo dummy too. Ray
  5. Yes, this is the new wargame juggernaut on the block. All others should take note and bow to BTS. The covering arcs are revolutionary IMO and make this game so much harder than CMBO, but in a good way. Knowing when to use human wave attacks will soon be the best feature though. Man ppl will sink or swim with this one in the future I think. Man I have goosebumps from the tutorial I swear!!! And man, those T-34's are friggen sweet! Ray
  6. Man I just played 20 turns of this scenario and was quite surprised by a few of the "Newer" features that were not in CMBO. First off the way that now you may not see who is attacking you just blows my mind. 2 of my PzIVG's were just raped by unseen attackers. After the brew-fest, I was pleased that instead of the crews just getting it, it now shows them bailing out. So much to see when the full game is released me thinks. Ray
  7. LOL ya Bassard, I should be pre-order king, as I am NOT YOU!!!!!!!! Ray
  8. Your buying their next 12 offerings is thx enough for them!!!
  9. English verion 60% DL'd, I need to see all the menu commands before I play anymore. I like to spoil myself. Ray
  10. OMG, all of you who dont have the demo are in for a visual masterpiece. This is one pretty game and I do mean from every viewpoint. All those hard heads who claim that they dont need graphics to have a good game are getting quaranteened for foot and mouth disease about now. The interface is also a step up, even though with the German version I am looking at I cant tell what the menu stuff is, I am sure it only gets better. Thank God the demo is only for a month or so as now I need my full version fix..... Ray
  11. Thx, found this right after I dl'd the German version and am installing it now (German Ver) You rock
  12. Ok I know I am going to tick off a few ppl here, but I dont see the problem with what a Waffen SS unit's name being something different matters in the whole scheme of things. The more ppl who can play this game....the better. If that means BTS and CDV have to play by a countries rules and laws, so be it. Not all other countries enjoy what we have in America. They can name the unit "Barbie Doll Unit" for all I care, as long as they fight like the Western Version of the game!. Besides they can always hack the name later to suit their demand of realism. This is a fine product and the SS was a fine unit...even by another name. -Ray
  13. Just realizing that with the turn of the new year, CMBB is not only closer to being released, but it is now not even a year away from the release date (we hope that is). That being said, and the school kid excitement that is brewing in many of us, I just cannot wait to get my hands on just about any Soviet unit. I am so excited, I may actually play CMBO more than once a week now just to brush up on those pesky kraut bassards with the mighty morphin uber tigers. But man, I cannot wait for that release date. Disclaimer..... Too many Guineness makes for some stupid threads. -Ray
  14. PE is a very decent effort, and well worth the money IMO. Steel Beasts is a better "Tank" sim as far as the realism goes, but that shouldn't matter if you like WWII over modern techno-sims. And the mods are some of the best in any game and actually make the game a much better experience. Worth a try if you buy it from somewhere you can take it back and get your money back if you don't like it though. -Ray
  15. -LURK MODE OFF- No worries guys, Operation Flashpoint and GR will be taking up most of my tine until then anyway. Take your time, you guys still will make X-Mas someting to look forward to! Thx for the update. -LURK MODE ON-
