Speaking of AT grenades/satchels/mines, will we be seeing more robust modeling of these in CM:N, and could we possibly see some in the NATO module?

Hcrof, could a BMP-1's main gun really penetrate the armor on a Tiger? After seeing how well those guns do against Strykers I have my doubts.

The BMP's main gun was actually very good for its time and could penetrate the front of all tanks from the period. Remember, back in the 60's they didn't have composite armour or ERA so HEAT rounds where devistatingly effective. At the time they were predicting the death of the MBT!

You can test it out yourself - put T-55s verses BMP-1. The BMP-1 has no problem knocking out the tanks.

I'm pretty sure the designers of the Stryker had the BMP-1 in mind when they came up with its armour :)

Guys, doesn't the BMP-1's 73mm smoothbore fire the RPG-7 warhead?

So, in effect, the question is really whether or not the RPG-7 can defeat the Tiger.

Sure, firing from a BMP-1 is probably a lot more accurate than firing an RPG from the shoulder, so, yes, the BMP-1 is a more accurate platform than a rocket launcher, but given the low velocity of the RPG-7, coupled with its extreme sensitivity to crosswinds, I'd have to give the Tiger I the crown for the accuracy prize. A cannon accurate to 2 km's beats the RPG beyond 300 meters any day.
