When you buy it on Steam, both Steam and Slitherine take a cut before it gets to BFC. When you buy direct from BFC there is no cut taken. It's pretty simple.

Sure, 🙂 The version I am working on includes messaging (that also is compatibility with CM Helper). It should automatically recognize the newer games and get the Steam directories correct without prompting too. There is at least on language translation in the works (likely more) and it integrates with @Ithikial_AU's CM Records spread sheet.

Humm, that is unexpected. If you check the "Override game files directory" and point it to "D:\Giochi\Steam\steamapps\common\Combat Mission Shock Force 2\Game Files" that should work.
PM me if that makes no sense and I'll help you get sorted.

I'm guessing it'll be a day when I'm not reading my email.  If there is such a day 😔.

A lot of us use Combat Mission Helper, currently it's the best way to play the game in my opinion. For those who haven't used it; it will send and insert turns from and into your game files for you via dropbox. You can do PEBMs completely hands off. You simply just have to open the game and click play then it's sent. I hope Slitherines servers work like this. The ease of play and speed of turns going back and forth is a unbelievably huge QOL improvement.

What CM needs is ingame tools to make every game session look like Bil H. AAR's
After reading all those excellent AAR from Bil (and others) it just feels like I am playing CM the wrong way!

It's good to hear that BF will release CW possibly a couple months before Steam.  That's a nice reward to BF customers.

Long-time Italian happy customer here, and I couldn't be happier with RtV and Gustav Line, but this is difficult news to digest. It is hard to believe that a CMRT: Barbarossa or Stalingrad module wouldn't be appreciated by the market.
Or even "Little Saturn". It would be little: only Hungarians, Romanians and Italians to add to the game. That's nothing compared to RtV

CM has never done a Pacific Campaign. A shame because whether UTAH or OMAHA there was not a single US Marine. This left out unit, deserves their own game. The Aussies also don't get a mention in any of the games. Guadalcanal, Kokoda Trail, Burma among a few others could keep us going for years.

Reminder for everyone to and get their friends to buy CMCW on battlefront.com, BFC gets more of a cut + like stated earlier; day 1 access.

The facts of Slitherine PBEM++ system is that you don't need Dropbox. The files are exchanged over the cloud, through Slitherine's servers. There is a matchmaking service too, where you post "challenges" which can be open to the public, or protected with a password (so your buddies can get into it but no randos). Whenever a new turn file is available, you get an e-mail letting you know about it.
This system, in coordination with a third-party app like Discord (or even Steam internal chat system) I think is a pretty positive and a significant step forward.

I had this issue in X-Plane recently and resetting the nVidia to default fixed it.  There is some specific setting in nVidia that causes the issue with Vulcan and OpenGL APIs.  On the X-Plane forums, there was a theory that it has something to do with Threaded Optimization.  But I haven't seen that.  The underlying theory is that the 3D program is forcing some kind of overlay or maybe suppressing one.  I also saw that quite a few people see the issue return eventually.  I haven't seen that yet.
    Just some background.

This is something I threw together in my own time. Please remember that this is from a beta build of the game and is subject to change.

The size of the gun is much less important than the ammo the gun is firing. M774 APFSDS was a very capable round for the US in 1980, and its upgraded brother M833 (outside the scope of the game as it is from 83) is even better.

Soviet tanks (T-64/72/80) are very well armored and hard to kill, especially at range. But they are not invulnerable beasts, and the 105mm (again depending on the ammo used) is not hopelessly outclassed.

No but judging by the number of people commenting about units mentioned in the briefing but not showing up in individual campaign scenarios, I suspect that the new campaign has fixed up those oddities and any other reported flaws of a similar nature.
