I'm not sure I'm following this fully, but even the late war biggest PFs only had 100m range (the early ones much less).  So they won't fire at a range of 120m.  Rifles might be firing if for example the tank is unbuttoned and Tank Commander is presenting a target?
    Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding...
A picture would help.  I use Nvidia screen capture, put it on Imgur and then post the direct link here.  A bit of an exercise but worth it.  Others do it differently.

That has of course been attempted as a mod by Phil @kohlenklau who has departed here for now.  I'm still trying to get him back...

My experience of empty roads is that if your movement orders allow time between vehicles such that they don't bunch up, and are also short enough to follow the road turn by turn, then you can get it work.  If one vehicle gets held up, it might go off road or cause others to go off road.
Micro-management - yes.  Part of the game - yes.  Has BFC tried to introduce 'convoy orders' before - yes. Did they work flawlessly - no.  Is it being looked at again - yes.
    Did I mention I quite like micro-management 😉?

Thanks for the useful briefing. I have the impression that altough the combat mission community is small by comparison to other game titles in terms of numbers, it is otherwise in terms of quality of great caliber. Cheers for the great community here!
Yes, and the subsystem damage to tanks is also nothing to take lightly in any situation.
I will definitely post anything worth seeing/mentioning.

I assume its a 7.5 cm le.IG 18?  If so, 4 HEAT rounds as standard.  HEAT rounds are very capable against things like Shermans.

All valid questions. If vehicles "unfailingly" do stupid things i.e. constantly, would any of us get past a demo, without deciding this game isn't for us?

Got any pics, showing paths if possible?  Why does the AI take them off road?  Obstacles like wrecks in the way, or something else?
I assume by lose you mean they drive off into mud and get stuck, or perhaps into LOS/LOF of the enemy?

I might be up for a fight in CMFI. I have at least a couple scenarios that I've been ignoring because they say "H2H only", and I'd be interested in giving them a go.

Hi! I am searching for players willing to play wego battles, 45min/1h/1,30h battles. Experience doesn`t really matter, I myself am at an beginner/intermediate level and I know all the commands by key which means you don`t have to wait half an hour for me to give orders. I started playing a lot of CM a month ago or something like that and I am amazed by the sheer realism and the awesome gameplay CM provides so much so that i`ve deleted steel division and ostfront and won`t be going back, they feel so childish. I currently own only Black Sea and Fortress Italy. If anyone is interested send me a friend request on steam ( dom'Sergent ) or we can hook up here.

Ah Loch Lomond.  There's a great road along the west side (from memory, maybe @George MC can confirm) which we used to take on motorcycle camping trips quite a few years ago.  Beautiful place, although the scenery was probably not top priority for us at the time.  Might go back on my current bike (a KTM 890 Duke R with excellent modern technology ❤️).
    Okay, I'm OT again...

Battlefront has a pretty unique way of making many of its lets say "content packs".
This has some unique properties, one of them is extreme variance in schedules and also very high tolerance for variances in schedule.

We all know what this...and don't try to deny it.  This is Sweden's inevitable march to global furniture dominance.  NATO spending will be siphoned to a blooming Swedish military office furniture line and reinforce the home market.  As we fight for the Global South, it is all just a cover for selling more "Bekväm" chairs.  It all ends with Sweden ruling our bums - or at least where we put them - like emperors
By 2125 the entire world will be living on Swedish smart furniture on three different planets.

I had some fun with one of them (Kharkhov 1942 I think?) and I liked the editor well enough.
But as I said I spend all my time playing CM.  There must be a reason, other than my stupidity perhaps 🤪.

I think I do too, I've tried most of those other games but what do I spend nearly all of my game time playing?  CM.

Yes, my memory is of crates of small bottles left outside the back door of the school.  You were lucky if you got one of the bottles that the birds hadn't already opened by pecking the foil caps.

Without playing it (I will when I get a chance) I wouldn't know but yes, if there are PS (or even PF) teams about that might not end well.  Which is why I said cover them, but easier said than done.
Having said all of that, if you have flails they're not there to clear the road after everyone has passed?

Nope.  Engineer squad, then an infantry squad to cover them (that hopefully stops before the mines). Then the flails clear the mines. Then the rest of the column follow the flails. (tanks and mechanized infantry).
Twice now my infantry were following too close behind and blundered into the mines.  I've gotta be more careful.

I don't see the point of searching for mines. The Milk Snatcher closed them all. Ah, sorry, wrong kind of mines.

Either of the above sound good, but neither are quick if you have a distance to travel.  Detecting mines was/is not a quick thing I suppose.
Bring on the flails if you have them but keep them covered (and keep your fingers crossed)...

Perhaps I'm an odd one out.  I do live in the countryside and do spend my time 'spotting' other people when I'm out.  No I'm not the phantom flasher, I have two crazy (well mostly barky, so not so bad) dogs and I like to be on top of the 'approaching dogs/people/horses/farm animals' intel.
I also spot (or sound contact) tractors, but in my mind I'm imagining they're T34s 🤪.  Of course I always carry a Panzerfaust just in case.
