Warts 'n' all reacted to George MC in Core Units in a Campaign
Nope. You might be told at the start what your core units' are but within each mission likely not.
This might be intentional on the part of the designer to prevent players from misusing the non-core unit.

Warts 'n' all reacted to A Canadian Cat in Command for Vehicle Where It Will Back Up When It Is Fired On
Hunt stops when contact is made. That includes spotting an enemy. The decision to withdraw and possibly pop smoke is made by the level of threat and what is known. If a tank gets hit by something and cannot see the shooter they will nearly certainly withdraw. If they spot an enemy and begin to engage it before the enemy does the reverse they will almost certainly stay and fire. All options in between. Crew skill enters into this as well.

Warts 'n' all reacted to WimO in Bug: Passengers and crew pictured outside the vehicle
Yes, I know the cause and solution for that problem. It means that you also have the 'original' version of the Kohlenklau's HORSA MOD installed. The problem resides in the fact that the mod replaces a British truck mdr and moves the passengers and that not ALL of the incuded files have been appropriately mod-tagged [horsa].
There are two solutions that work equally well ...
OPTION ONE: uninstall all files pertaining to the Horsa mod
OPTION TWO: keep the horsa mod (which is necessary for my Operation Coup de Main campaign) and ADD the missing [horsa] mod tags. The sub-folder with the"horsa textures" does not need to have the mod tags added. The remaining files should be as follows:
bedford-qld-gs [horsa].mdr
damaged horsa b [horsa].mdr
glider [horsa].xcf
gmc-cckw [horsa].mdr
icon british blue truck 1 [flicw horsa]. bmp ... this graphic was added by me
icon british blue truck 1 [horsa].bmp ... this graphic was added by me
icon british blue truck 2 [flicw horsa]. bmp ... this graphic was added by me
icon british blue truck 2 [horsa].bmp ... this graphic was added by me
obedford-qld-gs [horsa].mdr
silhouette bedford-qld-gs [horsa].bmp
To Summarize: The original mod forgot to add the [horsa] mod tag to one or more of the mdr files, so when you choose the truck, the program is calling the mdr for the horsa instead because it is lower in the list of files in data/z, and combining it with the gfx for the truck. Chuckle.

I would say that's almost certainly a mod conflict of some sort. You could try moving the contents of your Z folder elsewhere and re-running the scenarios to see if they are now okay.
Do you have a couple of examples of which scenarios have the problem? My CMBN Z folder is currently quite bare, so I could see what I get.

The firing squad? Bear in mind you're talking to someone who was beheaded after he died. Isn't that right @Warts 'n' all?

I'll decline the cigarette while we're waiting for the firing squad. They're bad for the health, you know.

You seem to be forgetting that LOS does not equal LOF. Judging by your screenshots, your unbuttoned commanders can see the Shermans. But, their eyes are obviously somewhat higher than the gunner's sights, and therefore it is quite possible that you have no LOF. In a situation like this, it might have paid you to give your armour Target Arcs and slow movement commands up to the hedgerow across the road, rather than having two rows of hedges in front of you. Of course, whether this would have helped can only be tested if you provide save files to your fellow forumites.

@SDGRegardless of your claims and if this oddity is right or not: You have been asked multiple times now for a save file for further inspection. You clearly have the file as you made multiple screenshots after another request.
You are certainly not obliged in any way to post one but it would certainly help to prove or disprove this behavior and probably to get to the reason why that is.
This would actually be nice when tanks could shoot somekind of blind directed fire into a certain location. For example when a tank is clearly visible but just so happens to vanish in a dust/smoke cloud they could fire 1-2 rounds in the last known location. It clearly was done in reality. Problem is just how to program this so that this may not occur to much or in the wrong situations...
However if there is any chance of it it probably will be in CMx3 rather than with an update to the actual games.

While we wait the modding master to perhaps arise once again, I couldn't help myself.
So here's the first of a few mods of weathered vehicles for the Downfall module. Don't know how many I am going to make, but it certainly won't be all the new Downfall units.
Here's a Dropbox link for the Pershing - but it will only be temporary until the files have become available on https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/cm-mod-warehouse/

Of course. There should be something for everybody. But vs AI is likely the majority is all I meant.

Warts 'n' all reacted to Vacillator in M22 Locust Tank
My view on this may have been skewed by an accident I saw at a small tank display on Weston-Super-Mare beach a few years ago. A T34 and a Sherman were moving around close to the crowd when they collided. The T34 moved away across the sand. The Sherman however stopped and started giving off smoke from the engine compartment. A brave (other descriptions are available) marshall ran over with a fire extinguisher and tackled the visible flames possibly just in time.
For some reason, that display was the last one allowed on the beach, can't think why.

Yes, from 44 on, the British also used the white 5 pointed star to make aerial recognition of allied vehicles easier and more consistent.

Thanks guys.
This is how my mod looks in game, make sure you do not have any other weapon mod that replaces this rifle in your Z folder, or just put a z in front of my mod folder name.

Same problem as Warts, I can't get the touch objectives.

Warts 'n' all reacted to Vacillator in US 60mm Mortars
I may be wrong but I think they will 'move as riflemen' and fight with their rifles, but they will still be carrying the out-of-ammo 60mm mortar.
It's only a small encumbrance 😉.

Warts 'n' all reacted to Andrew Kulin in Downfall: Enjoying the module?
Oops. Saw the reference to Remagen campaign and thought that was what was being talked about. Though I did question why French Canadians would be involved in that one.

I thought you were Monsieur Warts 'n' all, but we did have two campaigns being discussed. Anyway, bonne chance mon ami.
EDIT: My conscience told me that bon chance was not correct.
