  1. Can't you call the sand one for example .... kepi-officer-jr And the sky blue one .. kepi-officer-sr I know some of the uniform mods work in that way, although in this case it might be more difficult.
  2. It is an interesting question, but I can't imagine many people who have never played CMx2 before even reading it. Although I was chatting to a guy in The Groucho last night. And he told me that Elvis is putting The Attractions back together with four backing singers, Miss Brazil, Miss France, Miss India and, Miss South Africa. They will be performing in front of a video wall made up of screenshots from Rome to Victory, and doing a striptease during "Oliver's Army", all in an attempt to drum up trade for the new title.
  3. "Now remember men, never let the perfidious Albionites catch you dangling your Gauloise".
  4. @Freyberg Nail well and truly hit on the head. In the meantime without giving too much away, apply the second word of the campaign title, to your tactics in the first mission. It might help a bit.
  5. Playing WEGO. For me it is have one unit pop smoke whilst their mates are staying put. They then take advantage of the smoke the next turn. Trying to time it with pauses, can end badly.
  6. Sound advice from the colonial feline. And there was nowt "wonky" about the great maps in this campaign. Exits stage right humming "The fog on the Tyne" --->
  7. I find even on Engine 3 that the Russians need a bit of prodding to engage "Reverse Slope Targets".
  8. @Rokossovski You seem to be a very polite, helpful kind of fellow. Although I can't help but notice that you appear to be in need of a good haircut, and a close shave. I know an excellent barbering establishment in Whitehall, and have taken the liberty of making a booking for you on January 30th in the New Year.
  9. In the meantime he is a little ditty from 1939 to have your troops singing their way into battle.
  10. Bigger "Wink" next time, for us oldies with poor eye sight. Hopefully we will get some player made goumier battles in due course.
  11. This kind of behaviour has been included in both RT and FB vehicles. it has nothing to do with players being "ACES", even rubbish players like me have picked up on it over the last few years. Happy Gaming!
  12. Sat in my Jolly Bolly having my brekky as I read this. I was hoping they'd be there.
  13. I had exactly the same experiences with the infantry on engine 4. As for the tanks behaviour I seem to remember that happening the last time I tried the campaign with engine 3. Although I did just fire it up again having read your post, and lo and behold, without me even giving a "Target" order it trundled up to the hedge and began blasting away at the bunker with it's main gun.
  14. "Purple Haze" as a certain USatian dwelling in Limeyland once said.
  15. Every time I see the title of this thread I get "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding" in my head. I can't imagine why.
  16. Now that deserves a "like", even though I can't give you one.
  17. I've done it with "Smoke" a few times. But it's never been a problem with the trees as I never toggle them.
