  1. I open the image with Paint. Click on resize (top left of the Paint program window). Select Pixels. Enter 170 x 170. Save.
  2. Falaise do you have a link for this mod or know where it can be found?
  3. Below is the CMMODS IV description for this huge, awesome mod created by @Mord. If you don't have it, you need it. At the very bottom is the link to get it. Description: This is a huge collection of over 1700 hand made unit portraits (done in my new style) for your CMFI Base Game, Gustav & Rome To Victory Modules. There are many styles to select from; plain backgrounds (Summer/Sand, Autumn/City, Winter/Mountains) to flag backgrounds, to four styles of portraits representing all the US, Brit, CW, Italian and German divisions that fought from Sicily all the way up the boot. This will help scenario designers, QB enthusiasts, and historical accuracy nuts make their gaming experience more realistic, exciting and authentic. I’ve been working on this since October of 2018 and am excited to finally have it done! Hope you like it. https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/cm-mod-warehouse/combat-mission-fortress-italy/cmfi-other/cmfi-mord-and-dcs-portrait-mod/

  5. Below is a screenshot of troops from an Indian Infantry Battalion.
  6. That idea ended up being a train wreck .................
  7. I'm all for improving things and agree the education system could be improved. It would probably take awhile to make any substantial change to the education system. My concern is we may not have a lot of time before another pandemic hits. As we have seen pandemics can move fast and be very deadly. So while the education system is being debated / reformed / improved, if at the same time a certain percentage of pharmaceuticals & PPE could be produced in lets say .......... Indiana ........ or some such, that would be great....... .
  8. HA!!! I KNEW IT!! If most other people were also still at work, like you, forum traffic would be up. Stay safe my friend.
  9. Don't worry my friend. Your mods are greatly appreciated and loved by the community. The forum traffic seems to be on the light side considering most people are probably quarantined at home. I had expected forum activity to shoot way up. It makes me suspect many people visit the forum while at work from their work computers. Now they're stuck at home completing the honey do lists...........
  10. Interesting stuff. Thanks for taking the time to type all of that. If I understand the situation correctly most of America's pharmaceuticals and PPE are produced in China. This is a potential problem during this and future pandemics. I'm sure a reasonable, rational solution can be found. It might be helpful if certain items (or maybe a percentage of) were to be produced in the USA. We don't allow China to build our tanks (as far as I know) so maybe this practice can be extended to some of the pharmaceuticals and PPE??? Finding a reasonable solution to this situation is not bashing the Chinese people. It has more to do with my family and friends having access to life saving medication & PPE and the logistics to deliver said items in a timely manner. Heck, even if the critical items were produced somewhere in the USA it might still be somewhat difficult to get them delivered to my rural community in the chaos of some future crisis. However, I suspect it would be easier to facilitate the supply / delivery if the items didn't have to start the process in a different nation. Again, I'm optimistic a reasonable solution will be found.
  11. +1 Very happy to see you posting again my friend. Welcome back.
  12. IMO this dependance on China is one of the most important lessons learned. Changes need to be made.
  13. Just one of many cool songs. Sabaton — Soldier Of 3 Armies (France 2016) Lyrics: Started out as a reserve Soon promoted when deserved And the legend has begun With a bounty on his head The red army wants him dead Soviet enemy number one Cross of Mannerheim Addicted to the war game Never-ending flame Victory reclaimed Oh, we remember, we remember, we remember Shout, Lauri Törni's name A soldier of three armies knows the game Keeps their echo from the past Rise from beyond your grave Son of Finland and the Green Beret May you rest in peace at last Lauri Allan Törni Across the water a new start War still beating in his heart A new legend has been born Started out as a reserve Soon promoted when deserved Changed his name to Larry Thorne Cross of Mannerheim Addicted to the war game Never-ending flame Victory reclaimed Oh, we remember, we remember, we…
  14. Every time I see a map of pandemic cases I always notice the very small amount in Russia. I googled the situation in Russia and found generalized answers as to why there are so few cases. None of the answers I found were very specific. While I was typing I see @akd said Russia is not testing. Now this would for sure limit the known cases. Why in the world would they not test? No test kits? I would think they have the ability to obtain or maybe produce test kits if they wanted to?
  15. +1. That's cool. Kind of like a campaign tree.
  16. Also, on the bright side, not only are the symptoms mild in most middle aged and younger people but even some of the elderly are able to recover. I copied the below from a news article: A great-great-grandma from Washington who was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 is showing the world what strength really means as she continues to fight off the infectious illness — and win. At 90-years-old, Geneva Wood is not letting anything stop her from living life with her five kids, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, according to a feature in Seattle Refined written by her granddaughter-in-law, Kate Neidigh.
  17. +1 Great game!! Nice, practical way to prepare for Fire & Rubble.
