  1. I guess below, from that article, is how they are doing it. So far it seems to be keeping it in reasonable control. And the article was dated April 22 so should be current enough. fighting to keep cases -- at nearly 200, with 12 deaths -- from spiralling out of control and overwhelming hospitals. The severe lockdown imposed in five virus hotspots in the slum since the first cases were reported in early April is a key part of that undertaking. "No-one is allowed to go in or out, everything, including grocery shops, is shut". "Police are using drones to make sure people obey the rules,"
  2. Those poor people. I was expecting the Dharavi slum in Mumbai to have some terrible problems. But I'm not finding much information on that.
  3. The battalion motor pool, with the repair shop, is located a short distance to the west of Kvass in the village of Sazony. The Motor Pool has several vehicles in the shop for repair. The rarity level of the vehicles under repair will vary depending on the vehicle choice made in the vehicle choice scenario. The mixed TOE may have something like a Nashorn while the common TOE may have something like StuG III. When vehicles are repaired and returned to service, they will be found parked in the yard of the Repair Shop. Below a Hetzer tank destroyer is returned to service. The Hetzer moves out to link up with the Alarmeinheiten.
  4. Bad day at the office. After getting knocked out by a panzershreck the crew of an IS-2 bails out. Then on board ammo causes a secondary explosion while an MG42 takes them under fire from a second floor window. Cool game.
  5. We will get through. Things already seem to be improving. Of course there could be a second wave like in 1918. I'm reading an interesting book on that . But one step at a time. Seems like most things will continue on, maybe with some modifications. Apparently the pandemic won't even slow down / delay Brexit.
  6. I think Its because only the AI uses AI triggers. So when the human deploys Red units the computer considers Red as human (no triggers) and Blue as AI and shows if Blue has AI triggers. Even if that's not how you intend the final design to be. Its like the scenario author test. Human side vs AI side. If you load 3-D Preview I think you'll see both sets of triggers. But then of course no units.
  7. The triggers (terrain objectives, touch, occupy) can be set to known to player, known to enemy or known to both.
  8. This is what you need to know. Follow these directions and everything will be okay......... or not okay.
  9. Maybe I misunderstood the above. Small arms, even a pistol, will cause casualties. Think about the times a pistol armed tank crew bails out of a knocked out tank. Pistols blazing death and destruction .......
  10. The below might help. I thought there was another table also but could only locate the one below.
  11. Mini-Campaign Alarmeinheiten. Soviet attack on one of the four Avenues of Approach. Soviet troops breaching the defenses and fighting into the village. Breakthrough as smoke rises from the overrun German position. (Due to a scheduling snafu the Alarmeinheiten did not arrive in time)
  12. Looks interesting. Now for the silly question; what service is this playing on? I looked it up but keep getting links similar to the below description. Talon, the lone survivor of a race called the Blackbloods, sets off to the edge of civilization to track her family's killers. On her journey she discovers she has supernatural powers which she must learn to harness in order to achieve her goals. Does not seem the same as the above video ......................... cute girl however.
  13. Thanks, when we're done with Fauda we'll give Black Crows a look. Thirty episodes in the first season! That's like two or three seasons for many shows.
  14. Before this thread is locked I would like to make one more post. Please read below. Very cool show.
  15. Speaking of Netflix, which is kind of important with quarantine etc. I was reading the comments in an online Al Jazeera article a few months back and came across a very interesting show called Fauda. It means chaos in Arabic and is the panic code word for an elite group of Israeli commandos that conduct undercover operations in the West Bank, Gaza etc. The show also portrays Palestinian families who are caught in between the Israeli military, Palestinian authority, Hamas and others. Season three just started a few days ago. I highly recommend the show.
  16. +1. This was my first scenario created for CMSF1. I got it done with the help, adult supervision and encouragement of @sburke and @Combatintman. I should probably make a redux version some day on the map used for Coup. Coincidentally the consulates in both cities have almost identical layouts since they were built by the same general contractor. Consulate in Consulate Evacuation. Front gate to the US Consulate in Coup d'etat.
  17. The 2nd Battalion’s Command Post (CP) and logistical structure is in and around the village of Kvass (Soviet 200 VP touch objective). In the village is the Command Post, Supply section, aid station and 20mm Flak section. The battalion supply section contains four ammo dumps including 106 x 81mm mortar rounds. If needed the mortar ammunition can be acquired by mortar ammo bearers from 1st and 3rd Companies and transported back to the company mortar pits. Two mortar ammo bearer teams arrive from 1st Company to Acquire mortar ammo. This ammo bearer also made a stop at the Battalion aid station while he was in Kvass Village.
  18. I was planning on uploading it with the release of the mini-campaign Alarmeinheiten which is waiting on the release of Fire & Rubble (for partisans, SS unit and maybe a few new vehicles). Alarmeinheiten has placeholder units for partisans and SS now. However there is no real reason I can't send the mod over to CMMODS IV. I'll get started on that process today.
  19. +2. Nice combined arms attack. Also looks like another interesting map.
  20. Yes, that might be the case. Generally speaking I agree with this. But then we're back to the original question. How to use a Puma in the recon role in CM?
  21. I am sad for the crew but a little bit impressed that the AI called in mortars to drive off the recon. Using mortars did not reveal the position of direct fire weapons. Something a human in a PBEM might do. But we still have not really gotten good use out of the Puma..........
  22. I will sometimes dismount a crew and use it on foot to gain contacts while a second Puma (or other vehicle / team) provides over-watch.
