JM Stuff reacted to Audgisil in How Hot is Ukraine Gonna Get?
One thing about this war that I find very frustrating is that we, the collective West, seem to constantly allow Russia to define much of the narrative. It's usually not too difficult to expose their lies, but we appear to always allow them to first make accusations, to which we then respond. Maybe it's just the impression that I have, but I would really like to see the West go much more over to the PR offensive. Let's put Hollywood and 5th Avenue to work on this.
The Russians are the biggest bunch of pearl clutching, hippocritical Karen's on the planet. I find it disgusting how they were all a bunch of "good little Athiests" during the Soviet era. Now, their same leaders, including Putin, have suddenly found God. Naturally, he's on their side. It's just so transparent. They also scream about how NATO is defacto an active participant in this war, which is complete BS. Our armies are not shooting at anyone. Yet, nobody points out that the Soviets not only sent everything but the kitchen sink to Korea in the 1950s, they also sent Russian pilots, who were actively engaged in combat with American forces.
We need to go after them mercilessly on the public relations front. I think it would also help to educate so many in the general public, all over the world, who suffer from selective memory loss and continue to want to give these scum bags the benefit of doubt and give deference to the point of view of those "poor Russians who are just acting out because they feel threatened."
Boy, I just needed to rant for a minute today.

yes now I see in the movie mode I use it also, the alt r is useful, but for me the alt w is too dark, but is only me.
So is true that with the combined mode dont need really to use the reshades...is only a choice, some like more to performing theirs environnement, but perhaps have a better view about effects and impacts...thanks rob !

all what you can have, you know that I like all change uniforms gears... I dont like having two uniforms the same because the reallity are totally different similar yes a copy no, and when I could added more faces as the 4 really used in CM I would make some extras to change it, this is fake to put 14 faces in CM that peoples think that they can be used, when 4 only are really used, but this is another story !

JM Stuff reacted to Haiduk in Ukranian uniforms inspired by real life
Some advices:
- armbands should be some wider. Also it can be applied on the helmet
- last two photos reflect old "Dubok" camo, which doesn't use since 2014-2015, so now it can't be considered as "regular"

JM Stuff reacted to puje in Ukranian uniforms inspired by real life
Features:
6 individual digital, and 6 individual regular Ukrainian uniforms. Digital uniforms have blue armbands and are primarily based around multicam og Ukr digital, but are ragtag like you’d see in real life.
Regular uniforms are less modern looking, and primarily based around green colors. They have yellow armbands.
4 modded US uniforms to recreate Foreign Legion fighters. They are mostly like standard US uniforms, but have new patches, and blue armbands.

All yours snow, mods are a nice approach, and will be useful in CMFB new module with the Brits, hopefully all vehicles will be added from BFC.
Cheers

rob, amazing pictures and more of yours Airbornes and the hidding one, are you making your own mod about them ?

JM Stuff reacted to simovitch in FB new module
I'm hoping to find enough time soon to start a CMFB series on Patton's Lorraine battles. I have all the topo and research from producing Command OP's (as yet to be released) "Bradley at Bay" scenarios but I just need the time and inclination to start in. I'm surprised there are only a smattering of battles from this campaign available for CM.

It is a good way of testing how secure a Hull-Down position is. I give this vehicle three turns at the most then they go tip toe through the tulips in the sky. Better hide the vehicle and dismount to observe.

JM Stuff reacted to RockinHarry in Tips for playing.
another scouting (with vehicles) tactic I´m using is fast move between observation points, preferably from then hull down position. If possible furtherly refining to turret down so that just the commander peeks over the crest. For more "secrecy" one can also fast move from point to point in full cover, then disembark. The crew then does the recon similar to infantry at very short distance. It´s not without risks, but if you just want to observe, not draw fire, it´s very effective. Another RL tactics as taught for german WW2 motor recon troops (and tank units in same role).

Very interesting Steve.
So in this way I asking something, I know that the wrecks in the way that I am doing don't reflect the reallity, so what kind of FO's can be used to represent a wreck vehicle, but having "approximatively", the properties similar as a real damaged or burned vehicle already in CM?
I hope is understanding enough.
Thanks in advance to all infos.
Cheers
