  1. You mean the colon? Yes, you did! You'd get an "A" 'cept I have to knock you down to A- or B+ cuz of the misnomer. Next week: Story Problems! And I finished the damned thing yesterday!
  2. Well to tide you and Aragorn over, Jonze, here are two pics. There are literally dozens and dozens of little and big things to fix, add, and/or worry over. Faces, turbans, skin tones, gear, djellaba patterns, shading, sandals....hell, everything needs work! The plan is to have US, French, and British gear and weapons available, and separate djellabas for military issue and tribal djellabas. Our local Frenchman, falaise, did the lighter brown djellaba with the very narrow stripes (military issue), and the other lighter brown (desaturated) one (tribal). The reddish brown ones are mine but need desaturation and other work. They all do. Turn out the lights and don't wait up for me! ....damn it, pix aren't showing. Hang on......
  3. I’m pretty certain there technically is no limit to the number of variants for mods. I have some uniform and helmet mods with 20+ variants, all of which seem to appear without problem. What I always wondered about, though, is why there are very few uniforms in the entire CMx2 universe (I have everything BFC put out) that are numbered “1”. Any mod I make I use BFCs default numbering system, so I use a “1” when there is one. From memory there are only 2 or 3 uniforms/gear like that. Anyway, just wondering why that it is.
  4. I had long used the Natural Point control systems for IL-2 and other flight sims, which moves the camera synced with your head movements, and allows for voice commands. I tried it with CMx2 several years ago. It worked okay, but I personally didn’t find it much quicker. I also tried Voice Attack last year with a flight sim (but not CMx2) to see if it was easier or better than NP. Couldn’t get it to work at all, so glad you got it working, Ben.
  5. Well, some family and several friends are cheese makers; one was just crowned Cheese Curd King of the World, or whatever the World Dairy Association titles grand prize winners. Seriously, just last month. Blessed are the cheese makers.
  6. Mord is right, in that the result of not finishing on time and in budget is, well, unthinkable. MOS is correct about the tack room. Martha is a horse nut since retirement, and has all kinds of gear, more than space allowed at the stable. So now we have a tack room for her horse gear in the basement. Yee-haw!
  7. Lol, she already did; that’s why it’s getting done!
  8. Thanks Mord! It means a lot coming from the Master! I really need to get off my ass on this stuff. But Martha has me working on finishing her tack room that I promised her a while ago, so acouple more days at a minimum before I can dive back in.
  9. Progress, what’s that??? Oh, you mean as in moving forward, completing tasks and the like, right? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! No.
  10. Hey Splinty, how they hanging? Didn’t I already release those, lol? I guess I didn’t. I’m waaaay behind on modding; RL and other hobbies keep getting in the way. I have to finish the Goumier for Rome to Victory before I finish the MTP for the Brits. But I’ll get there.
  11. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that. Last game, in fact, I'm thinking why are my leaders’ not throwing smoke grenades like I ordered? Under fire, bad morale? Several turns, and a couple of shot-up squads crossing a street, later, it dawned on me.
  12. Speaking of hats, will we get the iconic German fatigue cap in this module?
  13. Well, it never occurred to me that there was anything insulting about it; I thought it was just good-natured ribbing. My chums and I do that type of stuff all the time. But I guess it's umlaut call.
  14. Sounds interesting, user1000. Could you tell us a little more? Playable from both sides? Company-sized? Thanks!
