  1. The draw distance seems much better - no more vanishing forests in the brief go I had of the opening US campaign mission. Which is fantastic! One question, is the bump mapping on by default, or is there an option I have to select?
  2. Just got my Google Nexus tablet today - I'd love to give this a spin, any ETA on the Google Play release? The Amazon market isn't an option for us Brits unfortunately.
  3. £7.50 to get all the new engine enhancements from CMFI back-ported into CMBN is an absolute bargain, I'll be buying it the moment it's available. I've got to say this seems to be a really great idea whatever terminology is used to describe it!
  4. I like the fact that special weapons etc. will now just have one icon each and the number of pieces/rounds remaining will be displayed as a number instead of multiple tiny icons. It's definitely a step in the right direction - I believe the real change to the UI will be implemented in the next 'family' after CM:FI.
  5. Great work there! 200 maps is a fantastic effort - looking forward to trying these out next month!
  6. Although there's not been an official announcement, my bet is that they'll be doing a commonwealth module for CMFI the same way they did for CMBN.
  7. Ooh, ooh, I know that one! Ahem. 'When it's ready.' Ithankyewverymush.
  8. Just wanted to thank you guys for your efforts in writing up this AAR - it's been an excellent read, and really did a great job of highlighting the game's abilities in full. Oh, and give Molek a medal!
  9. Combat Mission: Dad's Army - They Don't Like It Up 'Em Special Edition. Whatever the announcement is, it must surely be 'a good thing', right?
  10. I'd be happy if there was a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 version in the pipeline. Happier than my wife would be at least.
  11. Great work - thanks! One of my must-have mods - I love the way it makes the game look and feel 'better'!
  12. Well, I was going to vote for 3, but peer pressure being what it is, I vote for 2. Or 1. Or 4. I've been following this thread since it started, but I've only just got round to rechecking the updated preview pictures on the first page - wow! I can't wait to replace the default GUI that returned with the CW module with this - you deserve a medal! Thanks again for all your hard work on our behalf.
  13. Yep, I guess it's a more likely avenue for A.N. Other software company to get funding to use the CMBN engine to make another CM game in a different theatre/time period. Which actually sounds like a great idea!
  14. Amazing work there mister! Really looking forward to enjoying the fruits of your labours! Thanks for your continued dedication to the CM community!
  15. Thanks all - good to know it'll all just work without me having to do anything!
  16. Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm at work and will not have access to the Commonwealth goodness until I get home - what do I need to do to get CMBN running with 4GBs of RAM? Yes, I could wait until I get home an RTFM, but this will make the next few hours pass by that much quicker! Thanks in advance.
  17. Great news, and thoroughly well deserved! To celebrate, I suggest the release of the Commonwealth Module. Well, it was worth a shot, right?
  18. Fantastic! Those new screenshots are looking great - it's shaping up to be an excellent module, well done all!
  19. Fuser/Aris - top job! Your mods make a great game even better, so thanks for your continued efforts!
  20. Just dropped by to say thanks for the patch! I'm looking forward to retrying the German campaign with the full set of toys - desert warfare will make a change from scrabbling through bocage country that's for sure!
