News and Music Mod (plus splash screen)
CMFDR replied to Blimey's topic in CM Black Sea Maps and Mods
Would anyone still have it? @Augusto maybe ? -
Hello Franky, please define "a lot". What if you try to reduce the 3D model and texture quality setting in the options?

uncam: Combat Mission campaign extractor
CMFDR replied to Rokko's topic in Combat Mission - General Discussion
@Rokko awesome tool, thanks a lot! I might have a brain fart here but is it any way to extract the Campaign briefing and the Core Units file too? -
To illustrate Combatintman's answer above, here's an excerpt from the Canadian wartime manual "Infantry Training, Part I: The Infantry Battalion (Ottawa, H.M. Stationery Office, 1944)." Edit: And even more! Company Commander's verbal orders in various tactical situations. Orders for machine gun units | Wartime Canada

Netherlands Kind of the same deal than with the Bundeswehr, could be more granularity as egulations doesn't seems to be that much enforced there. ("Holland" is a, common, mistake)
-
Germany National flag usually on both upper arms (at the very least on the right), sometimes with "Germany" above it. Custom insignia on right upper arms (usually the mission's insignia, units' insignia doesn't seems to be worn on the combat dress. Until proven otherwise.)

CMBS Training Maps Ported to WW2 (BN, FB, FI, RT)
CMFDR replied to CMFDR's topic in CM2 Scenario and Mod Tips
It probably shouldn't go there Erwin, these are bare maps (ie. not even deployment zones are set). (I've created a "Training" sudfolder for them in my Game Files folder eg.) They are intended to be used through the editor to build up one's own training scenario, it does included a Firing Range and an Urban Training Complex. -
CMBS Training Maps Ported to WW2 (BN, FB, FI, RT)
CMFDR replied to CMFDR's topic in CM2 Scenario and Mod Tips
Damn'! My OP is a spelling murder party, sorry guys. -
I like the maps included in Black Sea's training campaign so I ported to Battle for Normandy, Final Blitzkrieg, Fortress Italy and Red Thunder to have my PixelTruppen train better. More sweat, less blood they see... To port the maps, I've used the novel Mutator tool developed by Stan Bobovych @sbobovyc, thank you Sir. http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/cm-red-thunder/cm-red-thunder-add-ons/cmbs-training-maps-ported-to-ww2-bn-fb-fi-rt/

You are very welcome Vin, my pleasure to deal with the moaning worms. You did the hard work and I totally get your mood. Both Heavy and Light versions are included.
-
Check for en email titled, for example "Battlefront.com: Your Order - 326888", in it you should have a serial and a download link, as below Also, check your orders page : https://www.battlefront.com/index.php?p=orders (this one usually take longer to update though, for me at least) PS: make sure your Order status is Completed

Temporary Quickfix : - rename "icon british blue light armor 1.bmp" and "icon british blue light armor 2.bmp" to "icon blue ltv 1.bmp" and "icon blue ltv 2.bmp". While these files are in the Shared folder, the Spartan/Sultan are the only vehicles actually using it though, as far as I can tell. (Thank you @Mord for your Dealership scen pack by the way) Great work @Bil Hardenberger, the shapes helps a lot to tell who's where when it's crowded. BilsCMSF2iconsB01_BritTempFix.zip

Xacto's “Camo” Theme Menu Mod for CMSF2
CMFDR replied to xacto's topic in CM Shock Force 2 Maps and Mods
Great work @xacto, you walked the extra mile, the coherence of it all is very pleasant. My only suggestion would be not to have the force choice button mention Attacker or Defender since it's scenario specific. I like the gear used as force-specific background, I assume that you will add some AK for the red backgrounds in a future version? -
Possibly Useful Resource For African Scenarios
CMFDR replied to Sgt.Squarehead's topic in CM Shock Force 2 Maps and Mods
South African Infantry Association's website, on which you can find some interesting pictures and some "manuals", Russian advisers memoirs' on the Angolan war eg. -
@Orthok Ian's website list all scenarios and campaigns known to men (almost). Please note that it doesn't host the files though, collecting mods and scens is part of the fun. As for CMFI's campaigns, check that page : http://www.combatmission.lesliesoftware.com/FortressItaly/Campaigns/index.html A friendly place where to get the files from would be The Scenario Depot, the Third : http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/search-2/#search/category=CM+FORTRESS+ITALY+[CAMPAIGNS] Now to actually answer your question, The Fleeting Moment campaign might be the only one I know in which you can play the Italians.

Now on CMMODSIII : http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=8032 Just launched CMSF2 and it felt uneasy, something was missing you know... then I realized there was some text describing me what my guys were doing, text! So yeah, just had to do it. This mod should be an option in game. Thank you @Marco Bergman, thank you @Vinnart you both are legends.
